I am an engineer and I have also worked as an escalator operator. Nowadays escalators are one of the most Hi-tec as they are installed with a lot of sensors. The escalator will automatically stop if any kind of unusual thing is observed and requires a key to reset it. Every escalator has minimum 3 stop buttons that are accessible to civilians. You just need knowledge. But still precautions should be taken as it is a machine and failure can be there.

I alredy had that fear... Because when i was 3 years old my foot got trap'd inside the escalator 😭 and i was so little that the escalator keep moving and i was going down 😭 and my family did'nt realice until i started screaming like hell, and they told my brother to help me and he couldn't get me out, and then my father help'd him and i manage to get out, but the escalator never stop't 😭 now i am much older and i have a mark in my foot, and i will never forget that day 😢 i got traumaticed 💀 so yeah 😭👍 oh i forgot, i don't speak english, i talk spanish, so im sorry if i wrote something wrong, bye 💀👍

That should be an automatic response for a mother, shouldn’t it?- for me, although not as severe, there was a baby at a tire park- her mother was on a bench on her phone a few feet away while the girl was on the a path they made out of tires they cut in half (so instead of laying flat they were right side up). Ig I just had a bad feeling so I went over to the girl and walked behind her, turns out one of the tires was instable and the girl nearly fell, there was wooden beams and such with really bent screws and such, and if she fell, it would have been quite the nasty spill- idk how I managed to react so quickly, but I kinda just immediately grabbed her and ended up taking the fall myself while keeping her from falling- the baby was safe and I fractured my ankle pretty badly lol- worth it though because the baby was indeed adorable-

A few years ago, my mom, two brothers and I went to a shopping centre and my mom was to busy looking at jewellery, my younger brother was about 1 or 2 years old, my little brother was going up the down esculator and the he tripped and my older brother helped him get up but my older got stuck in the esculator. We were all panicking while oir mother was looking at jewellery, a few strangers helped my older brother get unstuck and our mother finally left the jewellery store and noticed what happened. Ever since then i have always been scared of esculators and our mother doesnt take very good care of the youngest child and i have to take care of my 4 year old sister while im 15 and my little sister thinks that Im her mother instead of her big sister😅

@@triogamingsquadx he survived, but it was actually a fatal injury in his right leg. He got hurt elsewhere too but the condition of his right leg was the worst. Now he is 14 so it has been years since he got it but sometimes his leg suddenly suffers a sharp pain. And as he got a lot of injuries in his right after the pain is sharper now and has a big scar. But now he can freely run. So he is alright.

One time when I was at the airport there was this man. I think he just got back from the military or he was going to the military. He was just walking onto the Escalator until we heard screams. Me and my family looked back. The man was trapped. He had gotten stuck in the Escalator Half of his body was in there. 5 minutes later, airport security came to help him. They got him out in 10 minutes. I think he was injured. I'm not sure. I hope the man is okay though.
