Looking sharp! Good to see the gradual improvements happening, the results after a few years are worth the time invested

You’re looking like my ancestors -the Scots. About to throw the log beam for the distance. Lol. Lots of improvements! Farm looks wonderful. ❤

Looks terrific Andrew! Such a nice feeling to get those niggly little projects out of the way, isn't? This will make such a difference in the long run! I think you need to start documenting where your power is coming from so you're not (painfully) surprised in the future. 😉

March rain in the Ngahinapouri area just over 150mm. Surprising how much everything has greened up locally. Most of the maize locally has been cut and stacked.still a few convoys on the road though.

What kind of wood is your post made out of? Also there is an AP for your cell phone that will work as a rough guidance system to keep your spacing even when spreading fertilizer.

Posts are from pine which is ground treated. H3 or H4 not sure.

Am I the only farmer that got my posts 15 cm farther apart than planed? Solved by making the hinges a little longer.

Hey Andrew I enjoyed that vid. You will have a model farm shortly. What do you use to top up with phosphorus (p) and potash (K)….?I don’t see you spreading any slurry as we do in Ireland.
@williammacky23606 ай бұрын
From our soil tests our P and K are very high hence we are not putting any on. All the water we use in the cowshed is spread on land.
@TheOnceADayFarmer6 ай бұрын
Yep effluent goes via cowshed straight to paddock pretty much, unless were going through a wet patch
