We went through the exact scenario 1 year ago when we replaced all the floors in the house. We moved everything out to the garage. It seriously was akin to moving. In the end it was worth it. I love our floors, they look very similar to yours. The house felt so new and clean. Can’t wait to see all of your ideas come to life.

I had your same problem when we moved 3 years ago. I lived in the house with the floors for about 3 months before I started choosing rugs. I ended up with a large rectangular rug in my living room, an oval rug in the guest room and a round rug on the upstairs landing. I had a cream wool rectangular rug for the bedroom that went under the bed. All other rugs I got from Amazon. Your floors look great!

Hey, Mama! Ruggable rugs are my favorite because they are machine-washable, and I really love them! For washing blankets, rugs, and bedding, I recommend the following products: 1. Tide Hygienic Clean Pods Free and Clear (white package, white lid) 2. Lysol Laundry Sanitizing Liquid Additive Free and Clear (white bottle with a light blue lid) 3. Downy Soft Fabric Softener Free and Gentle (white bottle with a white lid) If you and Reuben have any sensitivities like I do, using these products will help. I’m allergic and sensitive to scents, so I’ve switched all my laundry products to these options. Additionally, I plan to change my body wash to Dove Sensitive Skin, which has greatly improved my skin. I also wash my cat’s bedding, blankets, toys, and the soft insert in her carrier using these products, and I’ve noticed less scratching from her, which makes me very happy!

It's all coming together and looking great! Oh my gosh, when you said that about moving the cabinet and possibly messing up the floors. I was trying to move my corner hutch in my kitchen to plug my little kitchen Christmas tree in, and totally dug the corner into the wall. It's quite obvious since my kitchen walls are a rust orange color, and the white drywall is now just taunting me! It's super small, but still enough to tick me off. We want to refresh the paint in the house in the spring anyway, so I guess now that will just be extra motivation to do it.

Hey Mandy the floors looks awesome perfect blend. I watch just don't always comment. I find in our home not having rugs is so much easier to keep my floors clean. They do add texture but you have to be careful with backing on some area and throw rugs. I have found Walmart has some nice rugs, I'm not sure how sponsors work on KZbin but I personally have seen the Ruggable rugs and the new Fanderlier I like both of these products the ruggable is easy to clean. I don't know if this helps. You will get your home together just take your time with decorating, it's more enjoyable if I go head strong into a decision I always have to redo it so I found take my time😂. Have a great week.

You chose an awesome color for your flooring, Dark colors would show every little speck of dust, and it would drive you nuts trying to keep up with dusting! Try to stay away from dark furniture as well😂❤❤❤❤
