I use a very wet rag, and I use my Endust Allergen dusting spray for our ceiling fans and wipe them down that way first. Then I rinse my rag well, leaving it wet but not dripping, and repeat the process again! This works well, and the rooms are so much cooler (which means you and your family/pets sleep cooler and sleep better), when they are clean. I also take the globes and wash them in my dishwasher every week. This way I know they too are clean and healthy.

I use Bar Keepers Friend only on the interior glass and make sure to open all the doors and windows during use. I prefer to mix the powder with water before applying it to the surface. When cleaning the glass, I wear gloves and use a disposable sponge. For the inside of the oven, (mine is a self-cleaning oven so that process takes about 4 hours, so it's best to do it overnight), I use Easy Off Fume Free Oven Cleaner, spray it on, let it sit for a little while, (doors/windows open) and clean my oven inside. This stuff is MY trusted go-to! I'm slowly getting everything done, too!

Active dishwasher tablets - Amazon! Brilliant. I use the Amazon brand dishwasher pacs similar to Cascade, just cheaper. But I have good hot water so mine dissolve. Perhaps check the temp of the hot water going into your dishwasher? Maybe run the sink hot water for few minutes then turn on dishwasher?

Now see, I’ve had that issue as well, that’s why I throw them directly into the ‘tub’ and they seem to dissolve all the way, I just don’t feel like they get as clean as they should 🤔
