I mentioned the other day what a good teacher you are but forgot to add that you can actually paint well too. Really well, and it's a pleasure to watch. Never got that at art school, though as I was discussing with an artist a littler older than me, the foundation course was where our drawing improved greatly. Hi Will. Can I use oil painting for the techniques you teach?

Hi Lu, yes you can, many of the techniques i teach stem from classical oil painting. There will be some areas that will be quicker with the acrylics (like the coloured ground and the glazing) but you could paint the rest of the lesson with oils. Hope this helps, Cheers, Will
