(Just a suggestion) Amtrak blows its horn twice, and puts its bells on before leaving station. Locomotives and amfleets first, followed by sleepers,view liners and baggage car.

The thing that always annoyed me about Run8 was how they put an EOT on the end of passenger trains. See that dude in the monkey suit back there collecting tickets? he's the EOT. I ran 91/92 for a little while in NC and we would never get rid of the throttle, Run1 or 2, and air to slow down or stop. I don't know if that's changed. Amtrak did go soft a little while back and started going away from stretch braking. A few of us still do it though. Speaking railroading in NC, I HATED running on the CSX and having to tell my entire life story over the radio every time I came up to a signal. The best part of running on the BNSF is nobody says a damn word lol
