If you have ever been hunting, deer hunting, you would now that sometimes a deer stands out like a sore thumb sometimes they blend in perfectly and you don’t notice them until they are 10 yards from you. Slow movement is so much more difficult for the eyes to pick up. When you are hunting and constantly scanning your surroundings your brain makes a mental map of what everything looks like. When something new appears your subconscious notices first. Of course where you are looking and focusing on changes what you will see. I believe the SS are trained to watch specific areas, that is their “detail”. Who’s job was it to watch the roof tops? Was it anyones job?
