Absolutely. I've been using hardtails since 1989 and never looked back. I used trems, including awful Floyds, for three awful years before I ditched them. Hardtails so better in every way and stay in tune. I see a guitar with a Floyd and my eyes cross. Such a waste of a guitar.

@@angusorvid8840 sounds like you don’t know how to use them. I’ve used them since the mid 80’s and have not had one “hard tail” since. I look at a hard tail cross-eyed as think of all the possibilities it’s is missing out on, what a wasteful request. Lol

I know that the Charvel name is synonyms with 80s guitars and Floyd Rose, but I really wish they offered other bridge options on all their models. Maybe a more traditional tremolo unit or even hardtails. Just a suggestion

They offer both two point trem and hard tails. Not as many as Floyd equipped, but they do.

@@tractordirt - Yeah, but not offered on every model as an option. Today with CNC machines they could easily offer any style bridge on any model. Sorta like a Charvel Custom Shop

I own two Charvels and they both have two point trems on them. I don’t know what your price point for a Charvel is, but there are a lot without Floyds.

I wish they would offer more quilt top and flame top models. I love the feel and playability of the pro-mod line. But all the wacky multi splatter rainbow and glitter models just aren't my thing. More colors for the mahogany body models besides just a raw finish would be nice too. I've got one dk24 already so I'm just waiting and waiting for them to release something in another configuration I actually like so I can buy another one.

What do you think of the Telecaster model of Joe Duplantier Pro mod San Dimas. It's made in Indonesia and the quality will drop but I love the guitar. Gibson-style fixed bridge but Fender scale.

I bought a satin black pro mod a few years ago. It plays and sounds amazing! I did install a tremol-no on the floyd rose though. My string preference just doesn't go well with them. Someone needs to offer a class in floyd rose setups. Super slinky no like.

let me guess no new lefty models! would it kill them to offer us that DK 22 SSS in a lefty? They only offer three models and all the same pick up configuration I would kill for a HSS model with a Hardtail or non-locking trem but I guess since they’re run by Fender they no longer care about the left-handed community, this is why I switch to Schecter guitars they care and they offer you a variety of left-handed models 🤘🏼🎸

I really wish they would make a really classic telecaster counter part to the DK22. I really want a vintage sounding telecaster, but with a dk22 telecaster neck. 12-16'' radius, jumbo frets, roasted neck, luminlay dots and the body cutaways. My DK24 is the most comfortable guitar I've ever played, which makes it hard to play any other guitar, but I really miss the sound of a classic, vintage sounding telecaster / nocaster...Something like a Charvel version of the Fender Road Worn series with gently worn nitro finish and a classic tele bridge, but with the Charvel playability and comfort. I really wish they would make something like that, because fender are not doing it.. You guys already make like countless floyd rose, hot road strats that looks like they are from the 80's...I think that area has been pretty well covered already...

I love almost everything about t his guitar. It's one of the best bang for your buck guitars out there. But the deal breaker for me is that idiotic 1950's huge block heel. Look, when Fender came out with the block heal decades ago, it was fine, but Jesus man, it's been 60 years. Let's lose that fucking block heal and go with something better, shall we?
