the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) started a detailed investigation concerning the Ford Bronco. The investigation, prompted by three petitions submitted in March of that year, focused on alleged valve defects found in select Bronco models. However, recent developments have taken this investigation to a more significant level as the NHTSA has now broadened its scrutiny to encompass not only the Ford Bronco but also over 700,000 Ford and Lincoln vehicles.

I ordered a Bronco, just kept getting email updates, last was for a 2024 now. I ended up just buying a 4x4 crew cab Nissan Titan, love it! So glad ford can't get their act together.

The “torque” you keep mentioning is likely the numerically extremely high axle ratios these Broncos have to help the 2.3 move 35’s. The trade off is fuel economy and top end. Also, multiple automotive journalists have tested and found the Wrangler interior is actually quieter than the Bronco interior, like due to the Broncos frameless window design. Biggest thing with the Bronco is the better on road handling thanks to IFS and a little roomier interior. But the Jeep has a lot more heritage than the Bronco, and probably ultimately is a little better off road. Everglades package is very cool I think. Bronco instrument cluster is a poor design.

I agree with you with the fact that OffRoad the Jeep probably is better. But 99% of people who buy these trucks use them mainly for the Road with an occasional weekend trip off road. So I think the compromise of being a little worse off road, but considerably better on road is a worthy tradeoff.

Looks like this video drew every Bronco hater on KZbin. It definitely has its problems as does every vehicle these days. IFS is used in offroad racing yet everyone is slamming Bronco IFS. I've had a JK and loved it. Now i have a Bronco on order. I'm hoping i have a good of an experience as i did in my JK. If it is a problem then I'll probably go with a Jeep JL 392.

ugh.....again, another POS 4 cylinder with turbo headaches. Jeep is doing the same. Folks, just look at that snake pit they call an engine. Mechanics will hate this car and you! I'll pass.

Removing any engine cover from any truck and this is what you would see. Ford just didn't add a piece of metal or plastic to cover it all up.

@@broncodude lol.....Nope....this ford engine looks like Ramin Noodles. Unfortunately, that's all folks will afford with the maintenance, repairs and upkeep of that rabid chihuahua engine. ;)

The bronco in general is not really a looker. The front end seems a bit off. Also interior and forget about the gauge cluster.

Guess you haven't looked at a lot of small displacement turbo engines lately. Most look like that instead of using a plastic shroud/cover. Get a V8 if you want a pretty engine.

Agree! I love my Black Diamond. I got mine with the Hard Top, Mid Package and Sasquatch. And aside from the Front Swaybar Disconnect I don't envy a single thing from the other trims.

@@solracarevir If the Sasquash package would allow you to use the steel wheels with the Sasquash package then that would be awesome I love the steel wheels on the black diamond more then the badlands wheels in my opinion
