This is an incredible review. Very well done. FYI, the headrests are perforated on the front seats because the B&O Unleashed system adds speakers to the headrests. There's either 2 or 4 speakers in each one. And I agree, one of the best factory sound systems available.

Hard to do at these prices. Current truck is ‘09 Platinum that i bought new and has served well with 400,000 kms on the clock and still strong and pulling my trailers with very little cost or down time with regular maintenance. Mike LOVES the generator! If you are a diehard fan and follower of Mike, very seldom do we see him so excited. He is enjoying his job today. :o) How does one take an $80K+ truck to a construction site? I think an hour, 32 mins is a record for Mike's videos. There may be a black Honda Ridgeline "for sale" soon in Myrtle Beach. All teasing aside, remember Mike had to read the manual in order to explain it to us. I'm exhausted! P.S. Mike you own this review. I can't imagine anyone doing it any better. Send this video to Ford, they can use it when training their salespeople.

I see one thing I might change here for practicality and ease of use, and that is the rear rubber floor mat. And that would be to CUT that rear rubber mat in half so it would be easier to pull out and wash and replace. It’s huge as it sets and will be inconvenient for some or downright too large and awkward for elderly folks or people with back problems to lift out of there. I’m nitpicking for sure but it just hit me as soon as I saw that sheer size of mat. I’m a guy who cleans his rubber mats often. I guess people can vacuum this thing while it’s in place and just use some mild soap and water in small amounts on a sponge to clean the mat if not too terrible dirty. Thanks this is a beautiful truck!

The Pro Trailer knob actually steers the vehicle. When in reverse, you take your hands completely off the steering wheel and use the knob to point where you want the trailer to go and it takes over the steering wheel to get you there.

Sounds good to me! A question. I've been considering a Raptor, primarily because I'm hearing how with it spring suspension front and rear, the 5 link spring in the rear, it is supposed to be a buttery smooth drive on the highway, a few compared it to a Mercedes or BMW. But it's extra width concerns me in certain circumstances, and it does not have the max luxury seats of the Platinum. What I'm wondering, just how smooth and quiet and comfortable is the Powerboost Platinum on long highway drives? I wonder if those luxury seats make up for the lack of a rear spring suspension, maybe more than enough, maybe not enough, any idea? I'm leaning towards the Powerboost Platinum, but doing a level and an offset, but am goind round and round. Thanks.
@MikesCarInfo Жыл бұрын
The rear suspension does have a little bounce to it. It wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me. Here is a lot of driving footage that might help you see how it drives: kzbin.info/www/bejne/inKnnYR_iLZ6l8Usi=2KQVYAs9mMWC563A

Epic review. I have actually read the manual. Plan on purchasing one when prices normalize and I have always been a GM owner. I will not pay MSRP+Dealer Markups. With the number of cameras already onboard it would be nice if they could implement “dashcam” capability. Mounting a camera to the dash/windshield then routing power wiring ruins the clean appearance of the interior.

Dude if this is brand new... Why's the under chassis rusted?! 🤔
@2004cyrus3 жыл бұрын
It’s really not rust. Ford applied lubricants on the galvanized steel panels. It’s not real rust. Some other channel explained this. Manufacturers are aware of the build up. My new Volkswagen atlas had the same build up on top of a layer of lubricants with 2 months. I wish I could articulate the accurate truth but it’s not a moisture that will corrode the panels of steel or other areas.

@alphanation3683 жыл бұрын
damn its already rusted underneath? How is that even possible?
@stephanfiebich15613 жыл бұрын
It’s not possible because it’s made of aluminum. People are complaining about the rear axle and other driveline components made of steel that do have surface rust on them from sitting outside waiting on chips. If you left the truck sitting in your driveway for six months without driving it at all it would look the same. Ford has the best rust protection on the frame for any truck but the spindles and u joints and rotors are not protected because they are moving parts, that have not moved in six months🙁 more complications of COVID
@engineeringVirtue3 жыл бұрын
Could have saved a lot of time and put the 1365lb payload sticker first.... sorry, that just makes it almost useless for any real towing beyond the tiniest trailers. Even expedition suv has 1400+ payload, ranger can have 1700+, and most buyers would tell you they want minimum 1800lbs...
@joseblanco24993 жыл бұрын
For the price there shouldn't be any rust. Who will replace rusty part's and will it cost the buyer more?
@stephanfiebich15613 жыл бұрын
They can be cleaned and touched up but there is no reason to replace the rear axle , u joints and control arms for this rust from sitting to long.
