New Ford Transit Custom Nugget (2024) | PHEV Camper Van

For the first time, Nugget also introduces a flexible new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) option - one of many advanced new features from the all-new Transit and Tourneo Custom family.
Ford worked with leading camper converters Westfalia to develop the all-new Nugget camper, which features the popular “multi-zone” unique interior layout that continues to set Nugget apart from its competitors.
In the living space, customers can benefit from new premium finishes, enhanced functionality and power from a useful solar roof option to make getaways easier and more comfortable.
The Transit Custom Nugget Titanium series leads the phased launch, featuring a tilt roof and 170 PS EcoBlue engine with a new eight-speed automatic transmission. Other models, including the PHEV option, will be introduced across the following 12 months.

Tolles Video von euch🙏🏽😇 Muss sagen, abgesehen von den Steckdosen und einer Soundbox hinten (leider am falschem Platz), ist für mich der neue Nugget verschlechtert. Hab zum Glück dieses Jahr mein Nugget geholt und nicht auf den neuen gewartet. Beim neuen Nugget - Wassertank kleiner, Kühlschrank kleiner, Durchgang kleiner, Innenraum kleiner 😢 und WC Fach kleiner(tiefer), Bett kleiner und schade um die neue Position beim Herd, glaub die Architekten sind noch nie mit dem neuen Nugget, Tage oder Wochen zu zweit Campen gewesen😅 und es hat kein Platz mehr für Töpfe, Teller etc 😮

Good to add AWD, solar panels and a plug-in hybrid. Guess it will be a petrol/gas instead of diesel, or? If you could manage to put in a small micro and a freezer in a Nugget plus - then I would be really interested in bying one. Then it would be a perfekt all year round car and a holiday home - in one. Can you cook with the roof down? With the plug-in, how is the MPG? And the cost and when can I buy it?

It would make sense if the battery had a larger number of cycles. About 1000 for ionic is too little.

Is this really a PHEV or is it a REEV? In fact, last announced PHEV model of Ford Transit wasn’t PHEV, it was REEV which is even better!! But they announced as a PHEV because they think people don’t really know the benefits of REEV. I hope it is still a REEV model, this one of 2024 👍

Needs the mustangs lfp battery 3000 charge cycles to 80% 5000 charge cycles to 60% Would be able to live in it for years before it needed replacing.
