How do i do it right? I dont want to waste money trying lots of hopeless things wrong 😢)

I have a self-imposed ban on new makeup until I’ve used what I’ve got, mascara being the exception as it has a definite expiry date. Have decided to “shop my stash” each Sunday to create a makeup bag for the week. To be honest though, I didn’t see anything in this video I’d feel like I’m missing out on - would never pay the Laboutin or Sisley prices - Guerlain had me almost fainting 😅. Great to see these being put through their paces though - I didn’t think the colours looked amiss on you at all, so the bronzing really worked - and it looked seamless. Thanks.

I ADORE the Louboutin foundation. I found the neutral shades come up warm, and the cool shades are more of a true neutral and lighter. I found the 10N to be darker and warmer than 15C. 15C is my perfect shade match, and I am shade 100 in Haus labs and NW20 in Mac

I have tried the LE skin tint and am enjoying. At 67 it does not settle into any fine lines, so natural looking and perfect for the spring /summer months. I am amazed that 3 drops supply a wonderful finish although sometimes I will add a drop of another foundation for some areas that need just a tad more coverage. All in all very happy with it and the bottle doesn't bother me, ha!

I’m not at all sensitive to fragrance and I was shocked at how much there was in that Sisley foundation! I had a heck of a time shade matching as well and ended up with something quite dark. The swatches online seem like they’re maybe two shades lighter than in real life. It is a lovely formula though.

I finally discovered what was causing the pilling with so many of my foundations - too many hyaluronic acid products! I was using 2 to 3 HA products at a time, and the pilling was ridiculous. I started cutting back and found just 1 or no HA products made foundations look so much better! Im now religiously reviewing all of my serums, moisturizers, and foundations to make sure I'm not over layering.

I much preferred the Morphe and Sisley foundations on you Gemma, they looked beautiful throughout the day. Oh god my bank and partner are not going to be happy with me once I’ve bought these two, ah well! 😂😂

Hi Gemma, great tip regarding the Liza Eldridge skin tint! The first time I wore it I’d used my usual skincare and it didn’t last very long, so I realised when I hardly wore anything underneath the following days, it was perfect.

The Lisa Eldridge tint: I find that it’s good for my skin. I had some congestion under the skin on my cheeks before I started using it. Since I’ve been using it, the congestion is reduced and it continues to benefit my skin. Possibly the inclusion of salicylic acid has helped me. I love it.

I am not buying more foundation until I use what I have. I agree that I don’t like the LE tilted bottle. I want a flat bottom so it can sit in the drawer until used.

The Lisa Aldridge skin tiny is phenomenal. I wasn't particularly impressed by her foundation but the skin tiny is EXACTLY what I've been searching for and not quite finding. More than a tinted moisturiser and better because it has so many shades but brings the miniaturization and skincare. Has the slip of a serum foundation. More skincare than a sheer foundation would have, it literally is "my skin but better". I love foundation but I've even been wearing this to work and at 54 in wondering if this might be the way forward...(no, probably not as I LOVE foundation!) I look forward to using it.

The Lisa Eldridge Tint is the first light coverage product I've ever been able to use! There's a true light olive(!!) shade, and it doesn't disintegrate on my oily skin before lunchtime. Lovely product.

I had the opportunity to test the house labs foundation and concealer shades in store now. it's sooooo hard to find the right shade so I'm happy I can now. I will def. buy the foundation one day but for now I love to use the Lisa Eldridge foundation (not the tint).

I have a question, can you do a bridal make up tutorial please? If that is not something your other subscribers would like, can you than let me know which foundation you would use? I agree with the tacky top of the Louboutin foundation. Some people may be interested: My MAC shade is NC20, but can get away with NC25, the shade I was matched with at Selfridges was 15C, which is definitely neutral, not cool at all.

Great review! I am stunned that the LB matched you in the 10N. I also bought the same shade and found the Neutral in the LB to be extremely warm (yellow-orange). It looks great on you. Did you find it leans warm?

Sisley make beautiful products. Very expensive, though the foundation wasn't as expensive as I thought it might be. I may treat myself later in the year, I don't wear alot of foundation in summer.

I tried the Morphe, and I did not like how it sat on my skin. It formed a weird layer and did not sink in really. Which is a bummer, because the shade match was so perfect. Interesting, how individual experiences differ. Thanks for your video. 😊

@@PamperedWolf I tried various, just moisturizer, moisturizer plus primer, and I did not like either. I now use it in very tiny amounts to lighten up another foundation, and that way it works for me and I might be able to get some use out of it. 😁

Just the fragrance ugh but I can’t really smell it on my face lol … it actually corrected a dry patch that I had next to my nose when I put it on … I looked back in a little bit and it was gone 😱 no flakies like what how??? I would love to hear a review of the new Ciele tint and protect tinted serum… Supposed to be very similar to the Lisa Eldridge but with just a spot more coverage and incredible longevity. I’ve been trying to decide between the two and I’m a bit concerned that the Eldridge is not going to give me enough coverage. It’s gotten excellent reviews by other content creators, but your opinion matters to me most

Lisa Eldridge complexion products just don’t do anything for me. The foundation was itchy on my skin and the tint broke me out because of the coconut alkanes which I should have checked the ingredients first so that’s my fault, but why put coconut derived ingredients in makeup?! I just don’t get it. I love the Sisley foundation though

Hi Paula. This video went live just over 24 hours ago on a Sunday! Today is Monday and I’ve been filming all day. It’s now 8.21pm and I’m just getting around to answering some of the questions after already working a 12 hour day. Your comment has honestly blown my mind 🤯 I do tend to heart the comments that don’t need a response to show the viewer that I’ve seen and read their comment. I then answer the comments that include questions unless the question has already been answered within the content or unless one of my viewers has answered the question before I've managed to respond. I try and get through as many comments as I possibly can in the time that I have, but as well as my work (which I mostly love) I also have 2 children at home who need and deserve my attention.
