Thanks for sharing your pens and ink. You have such elegant writing!

You are too kind Amy. I was embarassed by the writing. Trust me when I say, my letter writing is better. But that glass pen was unwieldy. You know when you get a pen at the bank or something and it just doesn't write well or feels unfamiliar, and so your signature looks different? It felt like that.

What a great variety of inks you now have. I could do an ink video too. Most of my inks are Noodlers. I don't have any dip pens but I like my Twisbi ECO better than the Lamy pens because the Lamy pens I have do not write as smoothly. I always leave ink in my Twisbi ECO pens and have no trouble using them months later. That Noodler's army green ink is calling out to me.

Yes, please! I'd love to see your fountain pen inks. 🤗 Like you, I leave my ink in my Twsbi and never have a problem with it. It's my most reliable. Our Lamy's are new, so we haven't had a chance to abuse them. Prometheus usually uses a dip pen and a black (cheap) ink. I also like the Noodler's Army Green. Please share your inks. 💗

Great handwriting. I think it is something missing from the modern world having official and important documents written this way. No more Magna Carta, Declaration of Independence. Best wishes.
@BookZealots2 ай бұрын
Thank you. It's not my best, but I appreciate the compliment. So many students are not being taught to read or write cursive and yes, like you mentioned, the official documents are written this way. Everyone should at least be able to read cursive. There are still many home educators teaching their children cursive. Prometheus is one. He knows how to read and write it. He prefers writing in print, but he can do it and can read it.

Hi, hello and cool video! I love how your "bad" writing is better than my best writing lol. Thanks for sharing and see ya on the next one!

LOL Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. I have your 45 minute video open in a tab. I haven't had a chance to sit down for that long to watch it yet. Hi, hello, and I hope you have an amazing weekend.

You do the same! Miss Jill is gonna get an early haircut tomorrow (they're having a big sale lol) and that's probably our big activity for the weekend. Oh and I SHOULD be stating Nuclear War tomorrow or Sunday finally!

@@holt_arr I was just now prepping my November pile of book options and finished putting the picture of Nuclear War on the page. I will start it this weekend as well. How quickly do you need to read the book and I'll keep up.

@@BookZealots In the infant school we had to use fountain pens to perfect our handwriting, my handwriting was never perfect. In secondary school we could use ballpoint pens.

@@jimsbooksreadingandstuff Wow, that is really fascinating. Thank you for sharing. I would think learning handwriting with a fountain pen would be quite a challenge, but it's been happening for centuries, so what do I know? 🤷♀

The inky fingers! Oh the plague of every fountain pen user. I don't mind so much, it just means I was having fun 😆Glass dip pens are so finicky! I don't use mine very often.

Hi Felicia~ So good to see you. All of these inks and pens are your fault. I had placed a giant order when you did your video and then just recently got the recording edited and posted. Thank you for the information on the glass dipi pens. they seem good for quick testing of many inks, but to write a letter? Probably not my go to choice. LOL I hope you're doing well. 🤗

I Love ink pens and I have a lot of them. But I haven't any Fountain pens and this video makes me want to buy a few now. Thank you -James

Hi James, I love the way fountain pens write. The ink colors are so fun to experiment with. You should try at least one fountain pen. There are options that don't break the bank.

Thank you Vickie. It's so hard to choose one. Each color is so unique and it really depends on the nib used and the paper too. The colors are such a surprise when they dry too.

@@BookZealots I bet it is. Is ink expensive.
@BookZealots2 ай бұрын
@@user-iz6cc6lz3j-Vickie That's hard to answer, because everyone's finances are different. It's like what price is expensive for a book? Some of the inks can seem expensive, but they last SOOOOOO long. And a book can stay with us forever. I do have price limits. Depending on the size of the ink bottle and $16 for a large bottle, but there are specialty inks that go for $31. There are some inks less than $10 as well.
