Frenc Blonde Travel, I will be taking a 20-hour solo drive from Arkansas to the end of Florida as far you can drive on land next month. I enjoy all my solo travel as a retired granny. I have 8 States to go before I can say that I've driven to every state in the country of the USA. Pretty cool 😎. Take care and be safe out there 🤗. This video was definitely for me!😂 my nerves 😬 I thought about taking a little roadtrip in my SUV however, I didn’t want to ruin it for myself I have an extremely nervous stomach before I even go to a new doctor sometimes I am in the bathroom up until the last minute!! New experiences make my stomach flip flop so I think I am going to set my target on a small camper van, I really don’t want to do the whole black tank thing but I think there are 1 or 2 work arounds so that I won’t need to empty often I have decided when I purchase a used one I am going to take it somewhere to have the cook top converted to electric I want to use as much solar and electric as possible so that I don’t need to be bothered with propane! I am excited about taking on some new adventures! I already have a foldable portable toilet and a camping toilet tent for a 2nd bathroom when camping and if my daughters go with me sometimes (I have never camped I am not really an outdoorsy person as far as hiking etc….) I need to have it more of a “glamping” experience 😂anyway you inspire me and give me courage!

I didn’t camp as a child, either and bugs n critters make me jump but I’m getting used to it now! I’m not really a hiker, either but I love the sunshine and being on or near the water! It sounds like you’re almost ready to go! Good luck, Alesia! 💜

After the Massachusetts Meetup I traveled out to Michigan. Traveling through Pennsylvania was gorgeous! I love those mountains. I found Ohio and Michigan to be very flat with lots of farmland. My daughter was camping up that way. She has lots of friends in that area. Enjoy your time up there.safe travels!

What a great trip! You were very near where I live now as you drove through Western New York. We now live near Fredonia. There is a place called Van Buren Point on Lake Erie near me that I haven’t visited yet. President Martin Van Buren has a lot of stuff named after him. He was a relative of mine. Hello Renee, Enjoy watching your channel, I have not taken my first trip yet, but the weather is beginning to change, so we may cross paths. I have family in Battle Creek Mi, I have made that drive before solo a couple of times just to visit. I will just have to make the adjustment to sleeping on the road. I have become very comfortable in my Van, but I will be traveling with a small yorkie.

Yea! Michigan, my home state. Good choice on the West side, Lake Michigan is the best of the Great Lakes(imo). I've never saw it so calm. I've got to say I'm so confused how you saw the sunrise cuz you're on the west side 🤔 It's my fav spot for sunsets. I can relate w driving, granny lane and I also avoid rush hour times. Looks like you and Patti had a wonderful time. Safe travels

I'm sorry to hear that the rest stops on the NY thruway are still undergoing renovations. I drive from NH to OH every fall and I depend on those service stations. Guess I'll have to leave the highway to find a restroom.

@@1956jude I found one that installed some porta potties, which was very helpful. I would check ahead of time to see which ones have been completed. There are a few but many were not, especially going west towards Ohio.

This past October I drove from Ithaca to Kentucky. There were some Caraaszy drivers on the road. And so so many dead deer. Do you find that?
