I remember in one of your video you said at some point your Dad wanted you to go to Alaska. Not exactly by words but somehow told you. It was right after he passed away and you felt he would love it if you go there. And now, seeing this video and you mentioned about fishing with your dad and meeting someone who gave you hes catch fished and teaches you makes me think it was your Dad way of saying he will always be there with your travels. i dont know but it made sentimental. really loved you drone shots by the way. always amazing!

Arctic summers can get very warm and the sunlight we receive is more direct. That's because the earth tilts on its axis, and summer time in the north means the earth is tilted towards the sun, meaning the atmosphere is thinner relative to other places and thus there's less atmosphere to absorb the sunlight coming in.
@willgaissert85315 ай бұрын
the sun is in an "active" phase and the Earth is receiving more Infared than normal. Stay out of direct sunlight! Here in Georgia the temperature is 91 degrees, the hood of my dark colored car is 200 degrees. If you are expose for hours, you will burn badly. This will be true anywhere in the 48 states. Struggled his whole life with losing his Dad at 12, then his 3 best friends died in the next several yrs and then his grandparents died in a house fire. He got addicted to drugs and alcohol trying to ease the pain. But he just couldn't beat it. He had the kindest heart ❤️ and was so good to me his whole life. Never deliberately hurt me. It sure looks like you're having a great time, you're seeing some of the most beautiful landscapes in the entire world and you're even making money off of it. But all the subscribers, all the sponsorships and revenue aside... the most valuable thing you'll get out of it is gonna be the memories. And by making all these awesome videos, you're creating an archive of pure joy and nostalgia. When you're old and you think back to those amazing times, you're gonna be able to just sit down, watch some of those videos (or maybe even all of them) and relive the pure happyness you felt back then. We looked it up, there are wolves muskox bears and Caribou, and the occasional polar bear you can see around there. Those mountains where nothing grows on them, they're gorgeous!! Thanks for taking us along as most of us will never see that, so we have to see it through your eyes! Thank you! In Fairbanks, if you go toward the town of North Pole, there's a great campground there and you can even meet Mr and Mrs Santa Claus. Also keep your eye in the sky, because right outside of Fairbanks is Eielson Air Force Base, and it's full of F16s! The North Pole is right outside of Eielson. 🤙🏼🤙🏼

You can rent a room in what you called “employee housing”. A room normally comes with two bunks, toilet and shower. The restaurant had an awesome buffet when we went through a few years ago. The Visitors Center is a good stop, several times a week they host talks given by junior Rangers. On our journey North it was on raising and training sled dogs and on return, the talk focused on the tundra, permafrost, and how rules/requirements for the pipeline. FYI, most of the Alaska Visitor’s Centers offer a small pamphlet on driving the Dalton Highway. If I remember, they recommend at least one full size tire, spare gas, clothing and food for 24 hours and on driving, they strongly suggest you pull as far to the side and slow down and most truckers will do the same. Reduces chances of getting a broken windshield.
