NEW Frisco Street running on the City Edge Layout by Vic Smith in 4K

NOTE: See this layout in person at this year's 40th National Narrow Gauge Convention in St. Louis, Missouri from September 2-5, 2020. Victor Smith's City Edge layout will be on the tour for the home visits. This is a must see. Pictures doesn't capture the realism and exquisite detail that Vic put into the streets, buildings and weathering appearance.
Frisco Parade. The City Edge Layout, H.O. 1/87th scale. Custom weathered Frisco units with added beacon simulators by Vic Smith. Frisco engines produced by Athearn and are D.C. controlled locomotives. The street running section of the layout is D.C. Controlled and operates in a point to point operation with automatic reversing at each end. The upper dual mainlines, yards, transfer track and all sidings are controlled by Digitrak D.C.C. With 10 PSX control boards for isolated protection.

This layout looks like the work of decades. The creator must have an encyclopedia-sized collection of reference photos and some phenomenal skill with a brush. If this is HO scale, the detail is simply amazing.

The detail in this layout is unbelievable!! The guy with his hand on an open car trunk! Everything the trains just the best I have ever seen!!! Excellent!!!!

I have seen quite a few layouts through the years but the "City Edge" is the perfect layout. There is nothing on this layout that I think could have been done better. It is by far and away my favorite layout. Thanks for all the video and photographs!!!

So many things to see in all of these scenes, but my favorite is the couple coming out of the bar about to hook-up and the Falstaff Beer sign overhead. I have not seen one of those signs in years. This is one fantastic layout, very well done. Thanks for sharing with everyone!! D. Muse
