Seriously, ditch the stupid Robotaxi idea, get the model Y refresh out early and concentrate on delivering the model 2 to allow more people to get into a good EV!
@preeyakumari-i2q2 ай бұрын
That should be the goal,get the general public in the drivers seat of an EV, and perfect FSD which it is NOT now
@CS-kk4tm2 ай бұрын
lol. that doesn't make sense. the exposure of the masses to an EV will come through Robotaxi, not by consumers purchasing their own EV. the future is not owning a car. it's an app to get a ride anywhere, anytime, without a driver. robotaxi accomplishes much more than most people realize and it disrupts other industries simultaneously. if you wait for consumer's to be able to purchase their own EV it will take decades for a measurable change to be seen in the market. if you push millions into the market via an autonomous taxi network you can see real change within 5 years. the robotaxi idea isn't stupid. stop thinking you're smarter than everyone who's working to make that idea a reality. Robotaxi is the the final nail in the coffin of all other auto makers. THEN, Tesla can focus on delivering quality EV's to consumers who want/need to own their own. This is a race. It's not about your stupid model Y, or model 2 personal desires. It's about eviscerating the traditional automakers, blitzing the market, ripping the eyes out of Uber, Lyft, Traditional Taxis, and capturing massive amounts of autonomous robo data to use in the fleet of Robotaxi and Optimus. think bigger.

@@CS-kk4tm There’s only one problem FSD doesn’t work and until it’s perfected no one will ride in one and the government will not license it, I’m thinking about five years which is plenty of time to get the model 2 into production and introduce a totally new Mod Y

It would undercut the adoption of Robotaxi🤔. Robotaxi would be a big investment(not the vanilla FSD with underpowered sensor stack and outdated inference engine). It might even be possible the inference engine in Robotaxi migh use blackwell NPUs from NVidia for onboard training as well🤞. While the low cost Model2 will be cost reduced, eqipped with a crippled FSD cpu,serving barely, the need for an enhanced AP. It will further reduce the profit margin neverthless. Tesla already has the manufacturing innovation (gigapress?) needed. They don't need further design innovation. They just need to cutdown unwanted(FSD/AP?) hardware, throw in a cheaper and better LFP and call it done. But will never happen, since no one wants to shoot themselves in the foot🤔
