I have been trying to download the new code for my father-in-law's LE and have been failing. I know nothing about pinball machines and have watch every video on how to do it with no luck. Is there anywhere to buy a preloaded USB with the new GOT LE code?

SPK is the file format you put on the thumb drive! They are saving you a step!

I'm no expert, but buying a new action button ability for 3800 gold seems like a lot considering it replaces your old ability. But I guess I'm not sure. Maybe it is worth that much.

If you save up and use it strategically(which I won't on either account) that could definitely be a valuable asset... What else do you use gold for?

You should change the video mode and make it worth points based on the objective. Like in star wars you get points per asteroid dodged. The scoring and strategy for GoT video mode is just boring.

I have 2 comments. The "random" house select feature is useless, especially in tournaments. At home, ok, but nowhere else. Outside of playing this at home, no one will ever use it. Most want Martell for the add-a-ball. In tournaments, by limiting to a specific house in the diagnostics is perfect to mitigate the Martell selection, but setting it at "random" for a tournament is a definite no-go because that creates imbalance because one of the 4 players might get Martell, and have an advantage anyways. In essence, the "random" feature is intuitive, but useless. (If you saw Jack's facial expression when he mentioned the random feature, he was like "What? OK, not". So this video talks about a multitude of updates for the Premium and LE (they both have upper playfields obviously), but what about the pro? How will these features translate to the Pro model. Anything dealing with the "Castle" is a moot point in the Pro model, so does that mean all references to the upper playfield modifications become an obsolete topic for the Pro?

The Random feature is a great addition, just not for tournaments. Pinball games aren't made for ONLY tournaments. In fact, they get much more play in non-tournaments. The majority of new features are on the Pro There are only 2 primary Pre/LE features in this update: - Castle Multiball - easier to advance to (Castle Loop) and scoring increased (Castle multiplier) - Completing a house by collecting a castle - which now has an option to turn on/off The Pro/Pre/LE new features: - Action Buttons and Special Features per House ---- Baratheon - Outlane Ball Save Action + drops advance towards Wall MB ---- Stark - Direwolf Action to complete a house ---- Greyjoy - aquiring last completed houses action button ---- Targaryen - Freeze Timers action + completed Targaryen house ---- Tyrell - much higher Iron Bank scoring ---- Lannister - buy Playfield Multipliers action, + more gold awarded - Ability to Buy an Action Button Ability - (but only 1 available at a time - so it replaces current) - Ability to start as Targaryen - Ability to select a Random House - LOL - Balances to scoring - Update to the new base software system - which includes a number of nice enhancements
