I like his energy and just from this short video I like his thought process. I'm really rooting for him to be great at Fla and I think he will

“Quit playing the game like it’s a burden, play the game like it’s a blessing.” Wow, this is the most wise thing I’ve ever heard a coach say about anything! I’m glad we got such a class act and I hope he brings the defensive unit together like we haven’t seen in years. It’s time.. GO GATORS!

Armstrong is 29 hired as DC. Stoops was just 36 when Spurrier hired him as DC. Gators defense flourished under Stoops. Can the the same happen with Armstrong? Both young coaches were hot prospects building great defenses at the schools they left for Florida. Let’s hope those parallels ring true for Gator D this season. Pretty wild... GO GATORS!

His defensive stats at his last stop were not impressive. I like to see guys who takeover and improve their team by meaningful leaps, like taking a defense from 100th ranked to top 10, not someone who improves them 5 or 10 spots. That's marginal improvement. Anyone can achieve that.
@tooldread1 Жыл бұрын
Lame take.. he was top 10 in the country in sacks and tackles for loss... pretty impressive at southern miss
@razerfish Жыл бұрын
@@tooldread1 What was his total defense and what was it before he arrived? Cherry picked stats mean nothing to me.

@razerfish ok I'll let Austin know you're not satisfied👍

Michigan had a top 3 defense last year. If they were so great how come 3 star tcu ran up on the field on them? Cherry picking stats much?
