I had my precious moments with this beast in guitar summit. Incredible instrument

I have a Legator 8 string as well! I have the N8FP in flamingo pink, which is a somewhat more affordable model compared to yours. It has an open pore satin finish on an ash body, the neck is mahogany, maple, and roasted maple (why not just roasted I'll never know), it doesn't have a kill switch, and it has proprietary passive pickups that sound very mediocre. It's currently my only 8 string as the 28" scale on the F# string makes it very versatile for tunings, even without changing strings.

This is exactly my taste. I was already about to get a 7 string legator although it was just (boring) black. I went with the schecter reaper 7 instead. Man if this was a 7 string lefty I'd fake my death to get one. Just one volume knob is all you need. And I always wanted a killswitch too 😮 the nano cortex isn't nearly as exciting to me

I was between the reaper 7 and the violet fade legator. Went with the reaper, my buddy got the legator. They’re both sick. I deleted the tone, push pull volume in the tone position, and kill switch in original volume spot and it’s amazing!

I’ve had 4 experiences with Legator, and all of them were bad. It’s a shame because they do make gorgeous instruments

All I can say is that this one is really solid!

In my experience, if a guitar isn’t right out of the box, it really gives you buyers remorse. However….were any of the issue fixable?
@BrockOfBodom2 ай бұрын
@@thisguy2973 they all had really bad fretwork. Like they were leveled to death, and weren’t able to be properly crowned. One was bought directly from them, and I sent it back twice to be addressed, was told both times it was fixed but came back the same. Customer service was great each time, but I still wound up with barely playable instruments.

The Guitar center in San Francisco sells legators brand new and they're quite me. I've tried a number of them because they impressed me stainless steel fries 7-string right up my alley, especially with the multi-scale but none of them have impressed me and I say that takes a lot to not impress me with multi-skill and stay in the spreads

I have the Evertune version of that guitar in the same finish. It is a joy to play with the flatter 18' radius. Everytime I see it, I cannot believe how beautiful it looks. Mine has a generous amount of blue going on in the middle, resembling a river.

what price on it with Evertune on 6 string?

Hey John! Great video! So I have a question! I’m a tube amp guy and want to get into modelling gear so I was wanting to ask. Which of these is better for a beginner to modelling between the Line 6 Helix or the Fractal FM3?
@SonicDriveStudio2 ай бұрын
The user interfaces from Line 6 tend to be a bit more easy for beginners

You should try and play through both and tweak their presets. I'm a fractal fan. I love the feel of the fractal sounds, the bass is tight and very responsive and the Helix feels very flubby when I'm playing it but in blind shootouts I consistently lean towards the Helix which bums me out because I don't like the "feel" of it when I'm playing it and when I try to create presets I end up chasing my tail. Both units have a different feel.
