@@schopenhauer5427That used to be, but an update earlier this year made it possible to buy Dawning Echo with platinum, and awaken was changed to require a Rank 5 legendary gem to activate. Latest update changed activation to Rank 4.

For me the progressive tab doesnt show up despite having an awaiken slot with 2 requiered gems into the primary gem. For now i have only 1 slot awaiken. Do i need all 8 awaiken slots for the progressive tab to show up?

It’s a great new feature. It would be even better if we were allowed to do also vice versa, i.e. use the gem power we used earlier (before the parch) to upgrade the primary gem to upgrade the resonance gems by only putting the copies. Now if you start a gem from scratch you have an advantage compared to one already upgraded, as all the gem power for primary gem upgrades goes into the resonance slots….

amazing update Thanks for explaining If you made a 5 star dormant (before the patch), you would only get the gem power but not the value of the copies This gives alot more gem power for free

If you are talking about quality, if you have a 2/5 gem and you feed a 4/5 in the next upgrade, the gem will become 4/5.

To upgrade a 4/5 to 5/5, you have to add a 5/5 quality gem in your next upgrade.

Would be nice if they will add kind of total reset gem option. For example I dropped yesterday Roiling 5-star (omega luck) but I already have Roiling 2-star on lvl 4. I wanna use my 5-star but I need 4 more copies to lvl up my current one to the lvl5. Since I’m very low spender I assume that it will take another year or more to reach this :(

Now you have Progressive upgrade, I dunno if it works Rank 4, but you can upgrade it using just a copy at a time

@ Yes I used this 5star copy for progressive and I have 3 extra stars on green color but now I need 4 more copies to lvl up then it will change from 2 to 5 stars but it will take a long time :( kinda sad

You can, that's the first thing I mentioned on the video xD just slot whatever you want in it, you get the Reso+Gem power, but you don't get the Socket Bonus

@@IndezYT One star gems still require 1 star gems in resonance slots , My rank 5 fivestars still need to be a rank 7 atleast to have the socket for 5 stars unlocked so no still 3 out of 5 sockets need to be occupied by 2 star gems. That was my point.

This is a very greedy update...If you are lets say exactly 6k Res you will have about 450 gempower stitting in each of your gems but now its usless unless you push to 7k. They do that so you feel this is going to waste, so you spend more to get the next level. The issue here is that these gems get slotted after you upgrade to the next level and unlock the next slot. So unless you keep upgrading you will always lose out on this "free power..."

I don’t see it as a downfall but the natural progression as it should be. Now even F2P can go from 1 star.. 2 and then 5* in a easier way. Also you can still use your 2* inside 5* gem resonance so I don’t see downsides for us
