I’ve gotta move to Canada if 6” is considered big!Attempt at humor aside, this was an excellent video-great footage, an awesome quad, and the Steves work really well together. New channel idea: Captain’s Drone or simply… Steve². The possibilities are endless! You should think about doing a raffle or giveaway. With all the quads and gear you’re testing, you might run out of space soon. Your viewers are here for you if they need homes. Thanks for the great content! I look forward to the next one. BTW… this is the only channel I share with anyone. I just realized that, crazy… Cheers!

Awesome quad. I wish I had the skills you two guys have to fly it. I actually have a question for you, Steve. I recently bought the GepRC tinyGo 4K. I am a newbie. And I've been trying to figure out where exactly you insert the micro memory into the quad? I've seen some people pointing tours the side of the quad. But, for the life of me, I cannot find the DVR memory slot. GepRC doesn't provide very good illustrations of the drone for newbies like me. Thank you.

@CAPTAINDRONE798Ай бұрын
So when you add an external camera to any FPV drone, you angle it to match the angle of the pilots camera. The pilots camera is always pointed above the horizon, so when the external camera is also angled up, no props appear.

You were saying how you thought it came with GPS cause it was showing the altitude. The FC probably has a a barometer built in. I got a speedybee FC recently for my first ever quad build and it came with one. I ended up disabling it and using the GPS module for the altitude reading, it was more accurate.

That is correct! It’s amazing what they fit into these tiny little FPV flight controllers!

Awesome video! how does this compare to the Mark5 (the new one)? Im going for cinematic, and I am currently thinking about the Mark5 deadcat, but GEPRC just released the Vapor-D series, so I was thinking of getting the Vapor-D5, because it's cheaper, has GPS and a buzzer pre installed, and has better flight time. What are the downsides of the Vapor? Would the 5" or 6" be better for cinematic like mountain surfing or super fast down a river (carrying a GoPro)?

Just getting into flying here in Chinada and I've got a question for you about our idiotic regulations. How are you able to fly within 30 Meters of random people on the street? How do you maintain VLOS at all times in a video like this? and finally. If you use a headset like DJI googles how are you supposed to maintain VLOS at all? I get that a sub 250g drone solves a lot of those problems but really how are you supposed to maintain VLOS with any of the DJI headsets for anything above 250G (like the avata 2 that ships with them) when you literally need to cover your eyes with the goggles to fly the unit. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks for the video!
@CAPTAINDRONE798Ай бұрын
I was the first person in Canada to write the Transport Canada Test to obtain my RPAS certification. This is why the license plate on my JEEP says RPAS…. Pretty Cool eh! So the regulations are very easy to follow. If you were born with common sense then you’ll have no issue. Watch any of my THOUSANDS of videos when I fly DRONES, HELICOPTERS, PLANES and you’ll see that the people around me are my friends. If strangers are nearby, they are informed of my presence by me. When I fly with FPV Goggles on I don’t fly in the path of AIRPLANES (which is what Transport Canada is worried about) and I fly in areas where people are accustomed to me. If I fly a large drone, then there is always a spotter (usually several) near me. So in this video, every human you see in the video knows I’m flying a drone and they are super used to it. I fly low and avoid cars/humans. Every regulation and law is put in place with “THE SPIRIT OF THE LAW and REGULATION”. As long as you stay within the SPIRIT of the Canadian RPAS regulations you are fine. How do you do that? Simple…. Don’t fly near HUMANS you don’t know!

@@JeanFrancoisPoulin1 This may not be the drone for you if you are confused at the start. If you are confused it is because you do not understand what is offered, it gets way more difficult when you actually attempt to setup the quad and then fly it. When you do get the drone and you get stuck, you'll have to do research because to figure things out. And you can't ask anyone because no one will understand what you are asking because even you won't understand what is wrong.
