I’m about to install tow mirrors like this on my 04 silverado. The thing is is I have manual mirrors lol. So I’ll have to do some work to get them done. This is a great video 👍. I’m an electrician by trade so I like to wire stuff lol. But I will be using not only electrical tape but also Tessa tape 👍

Thanks!! I don’t regret it one bit! And yea it’s been kinda bugging me I only used electrical tape… I’ve been kicking around the idea of going back through and doing some kind of loom or something lol

@@ZPTVChannel those mirrors are an awesome mod. Not just looks wise but it’s practical as well. But yes Tessa tape is awesome. You should check it out on Amazon. Also yeah I just did the electric fan conversation on my Silverado. So now I’m picking up those same mirrors from a guy on offer up in the morning for $120 brand new. Hopefully they’re new lol but still pretty good. They’re in the original packaging. But yeah I’m just watching a lot of videos and researching stuff. I’ve already got a performance tune on mid grade gas from Nelson’s performance here in SA Tx. Cold air intake with magnaflow exhaust. Got some 22 dubs wheels. Next major mod is I’m swapping in 3:73 gears from stock 3:42s might go with 4:10 gears but that may be too low.

@@alphasaiyan5760 I need to do a lot more learning about gear ratios too lol I’ve got the G80 locker but not sure on what gears. Obviously something I’ll need to look into once I start upgrading things lol. My main goal is probably around 500hp max on this truck and hopefully try to pick up a single cab short bed to try to build to make the big numbers!

I love those mirrors. You can check if yours has the power mirrors like mine if you hold the mirror direction button right. To unfold is hold left then up after it’s unfolded to get your mirror readjusted.

I just split the cover and wrapped the new wire around and wrapped it up in electrical tape. A t tap would have been way better but didn’t have any on hand at the time…

@@andrewwilson6015 I have them wired to come on when you turn the parking lights on! I’m sure you could wire them to the drls but they would be off when parked.

Got any idea why my running lights would be amber(just like turn signals) and not white?

They may have sent you the wrong ones. Or you didn’t order the ones with the white running lights. The white running lights is a special order option.

What plug is for the blinkers on the door panel switch

I don’t remember right off the top of my head but if I’m correct it will only go in one slot. There’s really no way to mix them up.
