Here is my theory: Serizawa son has built mechagodzilla and is using Ghidorah head to power it.It's what that has triggered godzilla.The weapon Kong used to stop Godzilla Atomic breath is obviously a bone of Godzilla spices.Also, It's obvious that they will team up in the end and will fight the bad guy. It would be funny if both stop fighting after Martha...Mothra shows up.
