U forgot to mention that in the skull island movie Kong was said to be smaller than he was supposed to be. Meaning the one on skull island is actually a toddler version of Kong. That's why he suddenly appears so big in the new movie.

The only reason he grew that big, after the events of kong skull island, is because he was too stressed. Stress is something that can make things not grow as fast, and after killing ramarak, he didn't have a reason to be stressed. Making him grow more. I think if ramarak didn't exist kong would grow way more and surpass godzilla in size by alot.

@@BrotherTheory I am going to have to disagree, if Kong was having trouble fighting skull crawlers and they damaged him. Sure, he is gonna be bigger in the movie but that still won't save him. Considering Gojira fought King Ghidorah, a being who rivals/is stronger than Gojira, Kong would stand 0 chance against Ghidorah if simple scratches and bites slow him and his skin is softer than Gojira's skin. Plus, Gojira has tougher skin, atomic breath, and allies. Kong has weaker skin and no allies. Sure he is an ape so he is gonna be more intelligent and he can use his arms better but that won't help him against Gojira and his allies.

Well actually at 11:10, MatPat said that Godzilla has already lost against Kong at some point, wich isn't true. That engraving at the start of the movie wasnt depicting a battle with Kong and Legendary Goji, it was the battle between the Godzilla and Kong species. While Legendary Goji did fight in this battle, and survived it as the only one of his species, King Kong wasn't even born at that time. Gojira is milions of years old, however kong is a few thousand, maybe less.

I do think he got the overall idea right, that there was a war between Godzillas and Kongs and perhaps Godzilla's species lost. There's some major points here, though. Godzilla vs Ghidorah, Godzilla vs Kong, Godzilla vs MUTOs Kong and Kong vs Skar King. Which came first? Some of them could've happened during others, as a war against MUTOs and Kongs could explain why there are so few Godzilla's left - potentially only *one,* whereas there was an entire civilization of enslaved Kongs in Hollow Earth. The Hollow Earth is huge though, so perhaps there'll be other Godzillas revealed later in the series. I would definitely like to see Monsterverse lore expanded.

I want to do a serious and real theory: ⭕️The movie is “Godzilla vs Kong”, and there are 2 sides: “Monarch” and “Apex”. What’s REALLY probably happening is that Apex is building Mecha-Godzilla secretly in their bases around the world, Godzilla will sense/feel it and probably attack their HQ. The director CONFIRMED that there will be a clear winner between Godzilla and Kong (no ties), but, we know that the final boss is Mecha-Godzilla. So, Apex hopes that when the 2 Alphas fight, one of them will die and the other one will be tired and injured, and that’s the perfect time to take him out with Mecha-Godzilla, destroy the rest of the Titans and seem as heroes in front of the world. So, one of them will win (probably Godzilla) and then Kong will help him fight against the real threat: Mecha-Godzilla with Ghidorah’s brain.

Honestly they have made them pretty on par. Kong's axe negates Godzilla's BEST offensive weapon and they are both shown to be about the same size and shown to be able to push each other around without much effort and Kong is shown in the trailers to take Godzilla stepping on him (which instant killed Ghidorah) so they are both pretty durable.

@@pyrosianheir Nope, the people making the movie said there would be a clear winner. That doesn't mean one will die (though I guess its still possible, Kong always dies at the end of his movies afterall), but that one will clearly KO the other at some point.
