I have the doubt that if it's an enraged variant of the SSJ2 or a full power version, just like Trunks' transformation in the Super's manga. I'm not sure, because the DLC it's after all part of Z and not from Super.

Out of all the fights in dbz kakarot (including all the DLC's) this has to be the best one so far. Not only does it feel full on dragon ball like, the fact that during the fight there are moments where the characters will flash back to the previous times they fought and those fights would resonate with this one, almost as if all those fights were happening in tandem with one another. Its a show of Goku and Vegeta's growth and how they intend to keep up with their goals no matter what. This fight is just... there are truly no words to describe how this fight in particular made me feel.

For the people who seem to be confused. Vegeta's SS2 here is basically the same SS2 Trunks had in the DBS anime and Manga. He just trained the power of SS2 so much that it was able to match the energy of SS3. This is the reason why Vegeta never tried to achieve SS3 and why Goku hardly uses it as you can power up SS1 AND SS2 to have the same power but less drawbacks.
