Can't wait bought few Chromecast TV dongle for my TVs inside the house since the release it, this is much better look and I like to have a separate box, is type of looks like Roku ultra, is talks about for a couple of years now they come up with the new one so basically all talk no action... And shows some picture of this or that the as was all b.s. Will see

I am sure that it's gonna be a good device with go to updates, but nvidia shield is over my budget.This will probably also be. So my go to device is the on four k pro can't beat the performance, can't beat the price

Let's see something with 1gig and WiFi 6 or 7 with a decent mount or room if not not worth talking about the onn killed it but still I am not for low spec tv os devices trouble installing things in buzz tv os the other all hoops

Unless it can play all file types and allow audio passthrough for the formats like dolby digital, dolby digital plus, atmos, dolby true hd, dtshdma and 8 channel lpcm, its not gonna be doing any competing with the shield...believe it of not, the firestick 4k max 16gb version can so All those listed formats and audio passthru and is a legit shield competitor for peanuts

I don't like the Nvidia shield because it's outdated my Amazon fire TV cube 3rd gen is better so hoping it's on par with that at least

Too bad they gimped the Cube 3 with obsolete USB 2.0 and Fast Ethernet 10/100 ports. Maybe the new Google TV box will have 21st-century ports on it. Until then, I will stick with my Shield TV Pro.

Totally hate it. Who want's a set top box? Most of my TVs are wall mounted. I don't want it for free.

I do. I want a more powerful device with real ports like Gigabit Ethernet & USB C 3.2. A minimum of 32 GB internal storage and a minimum of 4GB RAM. Something to replace the aging Nvidia Shield Pro. There are plenty of cheap dongles available if you don't want a set top box. For those who want a more powerful device that you can hardwire, this could be a welcomed addition.
