Thanks for all your videos. I don't know if I missed something so please clarify: the friends that were turned into a group for specific albums that only they can view - the albums are restricted to them but are they now restricted from all other albums(in other words some of those friends may be close with your family so I'm thinking groups could be a sublevel for connections) Can the albums be restricted to a group without restricting those in the group from all albums? My second question is how do people become connected - do they need the Forever app to view albums, do they get notified that a new album is available, can they add pictures which would count against the owner's storage, etc. ? Thanks, Mary

Hi Mary - thanks for watching! I've been sick so I apologize for the late reply. A couple of things here as I think it works differently than how you described. And I do find this complicated to dive deep into. Album Privacy - Albums have their privacy level changed (Friends & Family became Connections) - Albums that were viewable by Friends & Family before and are now viewable by Connections Connections - Get added to Groups Groups - If you set an Album viewable to a Group (that was viewable to Connections), your connections will no longer be able to see that album. - Your connections can be part of many groups and will still be able to see all albums viewable to connections In order to be a Connection, your family member/friend needs to have a FOREVER trial account. You can send them an invitation right from the Connections Tab that includes a $20 coupon for them to use. Collaborating on an Album - Inviting people to add photos to your album - You would have to create a shareable link to send to someone. If they add photos to your album, it will count towards your storage. Whoever owns the album, its their storage that gets used. I hope this helps! Cheers! Mollie

Great info! Could you possibly do a video in the future on scanning and digitizing negatives? I had a little film/slide scanner. It works pretty well, but I have a lot of negatives that are too large for the machine. There are a lot of negatives from the 40's, 50's, and 60's and they are quite large and there are also a lot that I have never seen printed before. I have a basic printer/copier that scans pictures great but it doesn't really do negatives. I have watched some tutorials on KZbin where people have placed the negatives in front of a bright screen and photograph them with either a camera or phone and then edit and convert them later. Thank you for any tips and recommendations!

Hi there! Thank you for watching! I’ll see what I can do! Stay tuned! Those odd formats of negatives are tough! Have you tried using Photomynes app? Mollie

@@Pixologie I have tried using a couple of Apps but I guess I will have to get a better light source such as a light box. I tried putting the negative in front of my computer screen but it came out pixelated.
