Catherine in the garden...... all is right with the world!!! Last year, about September, I started doing a monthly video of my garden. I try to do it about the same time (beginning of the month) and it really helps to know what you've done.... what worked, what didn't. I too, have some bulbs popping up and blooms on the fruit trees. Life. There is life and hope for what is to come. Sending you hugs from California! Thank you for getting in the garden today!!!!

I get very excited this time of year too ... all my seeds have been delivered and I've scrubbed my pots and root trainers, but I know I still need to hold fire. We are due at least three mornings of frost next week in the South East of England. I have a robin too, he fledged very late last year, I didn't think he would make it, he was very thin, but with some patience I've got him used to me by feeding him about three/four times a day and his doing great and singing all the time! 😘🐤

As ever a breath of fresh air. Your garden is so cute. I to love seeing the hint of spring. I was excited last year when I planted my first bulbs, It is summer here in Melbourne Australia and the weather has been all over the place. days of 38 ect and this morning about 17 degrees and massive thunderstorms... But I love nature. I also took on two homeless feral kittens last night! I am hoping to tame them quickly and give them a good home.

My dad has Robbins and they watch and wait for him every morning because they know his morning garden routine and feeding time of the bird tables. I didn't do to much in my garden last season due the long hot dry spell. I lost a few bushes and peach tree got crown rot I guess and died and fell over at the base. It'll be a busy spring cleaning up and pulling the dead out. I have a nice hydrangea to move up front once I get the dead evergreen pulled out. It'll add color to that area too. I love feeding our birds and sometimes I add dried mealy worms in the winter for protein for them. There's been ice on top of snow here this week but it's starting to melt so spring is around the corner in Arkansas. Getting the ITCH to get out there and putter. Your garden is already looking good and how's the hedge hog. We had to put our cat to sleep but now we have two strays coming around. Have a good week!
