Hi Catherine! You have inspired me to dress like a feminine woman again! Here in the USA we are so drab in jeans and slouchy clothes, in my opinion. Since I couldn't find nice tea dresses or even skirts that weren't rediculously priced, I started sewing again. Took me awhile to find nice patterns but I have so now to make pretty things to wear. I love your decorating style as well. So, it's off to buy paint and redo some things in the house. Thank you for taking your time to share your love of clothes and decor. I completely agree with you and the way people dress here. I take the time to dress nicely and even in good fitting jeans and a blouse, people ask me why I'm dressed up! And that's not even being dressed up to me. I've always cared about the way I dress, but going to Paris really changed my whole outlook on it again for the better. We all need to dress better and stop being so lazy!

Somewhere we lost the desire to be feminine. You can be a secure person and still be feminine. I'm not knocking anyone who wishes to dress in their own style, just that I prefer this softer look for me. Flowers, lace, and soft fabrics make me feel good. It would be nice to have this again in the USA without a comment being made about looking strange! Just, "Hey, you look nice!"

My sentiments exactly! I am 63. My husband and I live in the southern U.S. and have a 1936 brick bungalow that we have been restoring and absolutely love. I can't think of any furniture that is brand new. Everything has been found by the side of the road, given to us, or purchased "second-hand." I try to keep true to the era of the house - 1920's to 1940's. I only recently found you and have been enjoying watching not only your new content, but the old as well. Blessings! ❤️

I enjoyed learning these things about you. You're a smart young lady. What pleases me the most to hear was a young person who was smart enough to want, and buy, their own home. I felt the same way when I was young, but now, all the young people I meet say "I'd never buy a house! Then I have to deal with things! Renting is best, then the landlord has the responsibility not me!" And some that say this are in their 30's. I guess they want to avoid growing up! You're so lucky you've got a headgehog in the garden! I've always loved them since I was little and read Alice in Wonderland! I can't imagine having one in my own garden! You've inspired me with my home Decore. We have a slightly different style although I am absolutely in love with your style. Until I found your channel I was always under the thought that if I can't buy what I want I can't have it. Now if I know what I want but it's the wrong colour I paint it. If I see something that's supposed to be used as one thing but I think it would be perfect as something else I change it. Or find something i love but its really expensive i try and look to see if i can make it cheaper myself first. It gives a real sense of achievement and you know when you've made something yourself not everyone's going to have it. For the first time in ages I actually love what I have rather than feeling like I'm stuck with something that I didn't really want because I couldn't find the things I really wanted and that is down to you. I loved getting to know you more in this video :-) I'm also 4'11, have a young voice and people tell me I look much younger. I'm 22 now and people think I'm like between 14-18 depending on the person haha! Slightly embarrassing so I feel your pain but we do have good genes at least and be happy for it when we are older ha :-) I love seeing all your projects & you're very inspiring. You appear to be very well together, laid back and level headed but thought it was quite interesting when you said you suffer with anxiety as you wouldn't be able to tell so thought it was very brave to share that about you too. Love watching your videos you've given me the push to get going again with a paintbrush and sometimes even a drill. Self reliant & focused. You're like a much younger me I thought I'd lost. I began painting furniture in the 90s when hardly anyone did especially 'up north' and I'd haul it to independent shops miles away to sell and even drag stuff into crafts fairs when everyone else was selling pretty jewellery or handmade cards 😁 I shan't be doing that again but there's some furniture in the shed that's getting a makeover and I'm thoroughly enjoying the transformations. Absolutely love your vlogs only just found you on tube im also a massive china teacup fan plus tea pots cake stands milk jugs you name it i love it all. I do like to use mine especially if ive bought frm a charity or antique shop as i like to think im re using someones treasured items , love the up cycling vlogs, annie sloan paint is great to paint furniture with X travel vlogs are amazing X
