Thank you. I really liked that you didn't just shout into the mic straight from the NAMM floor, with all the horrible convention "background" noise. Cut-down audio and a sweet voice-over. I wished I saw that more often.

Blackstar has some work to do on QA/QC for the IDCORE 10 V2. Late last year, had two of them and despite everything, right out of the box brand new, I couldn't get rid of the annoying background hiss the amps produced. The pro's said the amp has a problem. Sent them back and bought the Fender Mustang I V2 and love it. Much better quality, build, and more power for just $10 more. It's what you'd expect from Fender.

I went to the local shop to buy an Epiphone LP with my eldest son Mike. So I already knew what I was after there, a used ELP for $300. While we were there we played a bunch of other guitars, and I was planning on buying a 12 string to replace my Norman 12 which was destroyed in a house flood. Broke my manly heart I had that Norman since I was about 14, and the flood happened when I was in hospital for four months not expected to survive. When I surprised the shit out of everyone and made it home, they had to give me the bad news. So I was checking out prospects when I little brand new 3/4 size Cort Earth Series caught my eye. Not sure why, but I picked it up and after the second chord my eyes as wide as pie pans and my son looked at me, and said "so I'll hang this LP back up then"? Yes...yes son you should! I bought that Cort for under $300 with a solid spruce top!!! Just a top top quality guitar, great tone! I use D'Addario Phosphorous 9's and it is like buddah! (butter) Great sode Maximus! Really happy that Gibson is looking after the Kramer Brand I have always loved Kramers in the 80's they were way to expensive but now very affordable Cheers Dude ...
@TheXAKChannel5 жыл бұрын
Almost lost it when I saw that HM Strat!!!!!! With the resurgence of the 80's stuff that all of the other companies are cashing in on like Kramer & Jackson; Why in the world is Fender not putting these into production?????? The best & most sought after guitar that us die hard collectors & fans of the 80s remember from them was the Fender Heartfield Talon. It was made in Japan at FugiGen Gakki the same factory as Ibanez & put out to compete with the dominating superstrats of the 80's. Vinnie Moore, Dweezil Zappa, & Russ Parrish (Satchel) used to endorse them. Grunge happened right in the middle of their marketing campaign & the brand died within a couple of years later & to my knowledge the HM Strats were the line that they created after the Talon folded; as it was what they used mostly all of the leftover talon parts for. I still own a Talon V model. It came stock with inverted headstock, Talon fret markers, REAL Floyd Rose Pro, & authentic Dimarzio Super Distortion 3s!!!! Have owned MANY talons over the years from the II models to the V's & I have preferred them to all of my many Ibanez guitars that I have owned over the years in terms of feel & sound. -Even my JEMs! You can watch Vinnie Moore play one of these awesome pieces of guitar history on his Meltdown music video. (In the video he is playing a II model.) Fender would be VERY smart to cash in on reproducing these classic axes right now; even in a limited run. I would DEFINATELY buy at least a couple RIGHT NOW! Thumbs up if you would like to see them BRING BACK THE FENDER TALON!
