It probably has to do with the narrow minded obsession with old designs and the same two or three guitar players in all of rock history.

Most people who do not like Floyd Rose tremolos have not explored the proper use and care of the system. It's just the proper setup and string installation, really not too many quirks playing them, no big deal had a real MIG OFR my first guitar.

Extremely versatile guitars. Probably the best 80's metal superstrat guitar that can do strat things too. Especially the USA HSS SoCals. Between a Fender Pro Strat and Charvel USA HSS SoCal, I'd choose the Charvel.

I've had the first run of MIM of Charvels, these new ones are built better and the fretwork is better....But the neck still feels like a toned down Fender neck, they're still not thin enough. I've had a 2016 MIM neck too and I don't think I will get another one, the necks feel great but the shape isn't really "hotrodded"

Must say i'm kind of let down... had such high hopes for the 2019 models due to the amazing models they had in 2018 but i must say these look quite generic and stale to me =( (My favourite of 2018 was root beer dk24 with the gold hardware, really hoped they made more guitars with gold hardware and with that style)

have they fixed the neck yet, they're notorious for not having the nicest V lines like the fenders from the same factory on the maple side where the neck enters the pocketand the neck V to the head stock. It looked like they had a round edge fromt he quic climpse i saw. And it's a charvel TURN THE GAIN UP

@@lknez13 I'd go with a Charvel with humbuckers that can be split into single coils. That way you get chunky rhythms with a humbucker and sweet sounds from a single coil. But based on your picture you will probably go with a Les Paul. Best bet is to walk into a shop and play both see what's comfortable.

Beautiful intro jam. It's not often, if not ever, you hear a Charvel review without some bonehead djenting with the distortion at 11. Don't get me wrong there's definitely a time and place for that, but I can respect a great jam on any guitar.

I'm not a fan of the ebony fretboard with Alder body.. From my experience as s a luthier, ebony responds way better with Ash or Mahogany bodies

theDank Savage the Charvel DK24 HSS I have gives any guitar I’ve played a run for its money and under $1000 you’re hard pressed to find a better new instrument. Everyone has different tastes but Charvels are quality

I love Rob and the Capt but Pete is really a better all around player IMHO. Rob plays everything with the gain maxed and Cap plays a few generic blues riffs while Peter is all over the place, gi ING you a better idea of what all the guitar can do. Like I said I love them too but don't limit yourself.
