Just think of all the maple syrup she made and making people happy. RIP Sweet Old Tree.

Great another big landmark of New Hampshire gone. I wish I could have seen the old man on the mountain.

Me too. What an amazing geological structure. Very unique.

I saw the Old Man when I was about 12. I've just moved to NH this past March and just yesterday I wondered if the Old Man will forever be on license plates and remain a state symbol or if as time moves on he will fade from memory and it'll be time for something new.

It figures she's moving out anyways might as well wreck the only thing the property had going for it on the way out ya old bat 💀

200 years of history gone because of the greed of an old woman who removed it so she could move into a new place where she'll be dead in a decade anyways. Good thing this is the only thing of note she'll be remembered for too😂

FYI they could've trimmed the tree and kept it alive these people aren't terribly creative
