Welcome.back Cory. My question is as a player who is poor would a multi fx using the four cable method be a good way to have a wide range of amp sims and effects. I'm looking at a boss gt100 or Mooer ge200.

If you can change the pickguard, no problem. But if it's a rear-route guitar, then H90 pickups would work best.

Actually, these guitars should only serve as backup guitars, but the HWY 25 BKS Progressive Series has become one of my main guitars. (I play Metal). I recognize that about Floyds, though i'm ok with them, i just have to hold back my rhythm playing a bit. It's nice to have a guitar with a double locking trem system and i like how the bridge feels, but a guitar with a Floyd will never be my main one.

I have the G3n... It is an outstanding pedal imo, I use it for silent recording and it's great, really can't fault it, the zoom guitar lab app for pc/Mac also lets you download more amp models patches ect... It's brilliant, an absolute must buy (the G5 the same but with a lot more footswitch channels and more processing power, great for gigging)

Personal preference IMO. I prefer pedals because I like knobs & hate navigating menus. Multi-fx would be cheaper.
