Hero Plant upgrades: Left: makes all plants adjacent to it deal increased fire damage, starts at 3% and up to 9% Middle: Increases homing projectile’s damage Right: Increases the drill projectile’s damage Hero Plant card upgrades: 24:40 Left: attacks can insta-kill every non-elite zombie below 50% hp Middle: gains a new bar that is charged with time. When fully charged, click it to unleash it’s plant food ability Right: When it kills a zombie that zombie will explode dealing damage equal to 30% of the attack that kills it Card upgrades (Note: not translated ones are either insignificant or Flag already got it right) 19:42 It was a mistranslation on my part in discord, it’s “when a plant takes damage there’s a 10% chance for it to unleash it’s plant food” (At least you got it right at the end of level 12 on hard mode) 28:22 Left: Doubles the current sun saved up for the next level, only has one use 43:18 Center: Every time a fire plant attacks a zombie, increases its own fire damage by 1% up to 100%. Maybe im reading too much into things, but as a Chinese person im pretty sure the reason behind the bean gimmick is because when spammed like what you did in level 3 it makes it seem like its a big gathering of the whole family which fits with the theme of the lunar new year. As for the newspaper zombie spam I think it’s meant to represent the elders being the ones to give red envelopes to the younger generation? Thats my best guess.

Beans are a symbol of youth usually, they are one of the "symbols" of chinese new years so to say. And Newspaper definitely represents old people, its the only real "modern" old people in the game.

In terms of the speeding up parts, i think its okay to speed it up if its, say, 7 waves of minimal zombies and nothing noteworthy happening. But, the way that i watch these is as a once in a while special event, i set aside time specifically to watch these, so to me, the longer, non-slowed gameplay is something i really enjoy! I hope you continue to make these styles of videos, and more importantly, enjoy making these videos!

Hot take, but the PVZ2 content scene in general has been very pretentious as of late, and flag zombie is honestly the only one that doesn't stick out like a sour thumb (then again, I am not flaming these youtubers/(mod) developers for saying they have garbage content (most of the topics/mods are very interesting and fun to explore), but rather a garbage personality to listen to).

31:00 I like the sped-up gameplay for things like PVZ3 and very slow/otherwise boring waves, or a montage of attempts at a painful level, but I think it'd be too much for it to be constant. Also, I love your content! Shyguymask was the first channel I watched who did text commentary and it's a style I've really enjoyed since! Great to eat dinner to or just have some background noise/music while I draw, and the coverage of 2C in particular is something I really enjoy and don't see much elsewhere.

I think the 2x speed is good for just general gameplay. But when you're starting a level, showing off something like a level mechanic, new zombie, plant, etc, then slowing it down to normal then makes sense. I think how you have it now is pretty good pace generally

He may not buff pea plants, but if you put a peashooter of any kind on him, he'll have a chance to shoot that kind of pea. For example if i put him over fire peashooter, he'll have a chance to shoot a fire pea

So I tried doing some research into why 33464 is the maximum sun value because I just had to know, and there literally isn't one. The number has no cultural significance anywhere as far as I can tell, and there isn't any technical reason for it be that number (no data type that they'd be using to store a number have a max value near that). They really did just randomly pick a number.

A slight correction: The perk after level 8 actually means plants will have chances to activate their plant food effects if they GET attacked, it's not about dealing demage.

I just beat the realm today with lv 3 Monkey, lv3 lava, lv 1 jackfruit and lv5 blueberry (and sun production) Jackfruit is a good counter to Elite Hunter and Lava is a good pick for breaking the shield. I barely pick Hero Card but buff Cards . And I recognized that these buffs were really good for lv5 blueberry ability. :))))) Once I broke their shield, the lv5 Blueberry’s big thunder cloud just halve the Elite’s health. When i faced with Nian, the difficult part was breaking his shield. When the shield’s down, the two big clouds from Blueberry took care of him really fast. :)))) The Hero is suck in hard mode btw

I think the times you should skip are the beginning of the level if there's no explanation needed, the end if it's just stalling for something (for example a portal closing), when you slaughter the horde of zombies, and when we can't see the zombies. Also for my honest opinion on the hero, I think it's overpowered beacuse you basically delete everything if you put it down and the design it's kinda just a plant in a mechanical suit with random parts, compare to the heroes in pvz heores, this hero isn't unique enough
