He’s just too limited in what parts of his moveset he can use. Every other hero can access every part of their moveset at any given time, like oroch, shinobi, jormundgandr, hito, etc. Really, I get what they were trying to do when they made it so he can’t use every soul move after a starter, but it’s just so much of a detriment that he’s barely effective even when played correctly.

For those who don't know, Guan Yu was a Chinese military general during the Han dynasty. He achieved legendary status and was essentially deified centuries after his death. JJ's overall design is heavily inspired by him. A similar comparison could be King Gilgamesh from ancient Sumer; another real person who later became part of mythology.

I was thinking the same thing. I forget the big bad guy's name from Ghost of Tsushima, but i'm pretty sure he was a descendant of Khan, no? anyways, something similar to his design as a skin with a huge body and giant cape, I would love that.

@@blank4142 yeah his name was khotun khan, he was a fictional character who was the cousin of kublai khan. But man if they take inspiration from Tsushima they could totally nail a mongol skin, hell I’ve never even played jj but I would buy the skin

@@realamericanman Ye, fictional but I meant to say that in-game he claimed to be a descendant, but I could be wrong because it's been a while since I played. I'm just going by faint memory and the assumption that would claim that due to his surname in-game, though I did not know that he had that relationship with Kublai in-game. JJ funnily enough is currently my hero with the most reps and hours played, somehow. I'd bask in all the glory of a JJ hero skin.

I think the reason Nuxia feels so volatile is because she’s so rare that people forget how to play against her, so there’s more variation in how they expect you to play. Hypothetically speaking, her mixups are very good and deal really high damage and they work at every skill level, but she’s very unintuitive since her mechanic is so unique. If she was as popular as some of the top picks, she would definitely be up in high A-tier or low S-tier for general play (duels only, she still sucks in 4s).

I wonder if the dream I had of For Honor a couple years ago, playing as a hero on the Samurai duel map, with a mid-air evasive dodge attack move that looked like some sort of horizontal spin (feet were toward the player's view) in mid-air that also has a jab with a sword at HER opponent... will come true.

Nuxia could use some unblock and/or undodgable traps/attacks to help her get a higher player base. I honestly loved nuxia even tho she was absolutely awful back then 😂 Her little trap mechanic was just so dang satisfying to pull off 💀

Honestly nuxia is my favourite character out of the entire roster, I completely agree with you both in terms of her round by round gameplay, as well as her design, she also flows really nicely imo and has a unique mechanic, she really could be a postergirl for for honor and its uniqueness I think maybe an improvement for her traps could be an increase to the frames the trap works, possibly catching late dodges or early light interrupts, with a complimentary nerf to the damage to the trap, maybe 16? Oh and also, if anyone is looking to pick up nuxia, I really wish i could remember the video name but havok has done a video where he shared alot of tips how to play nuxia effectively and it helped me immensely, thankyou havok for your advice fella all the best to you and yours.

Good tip for nuxia, on gb, use your zone trap. People will instinctively block it and it's pretty much guaranteed to land at least the first time, but I've played against people who fall for it every time

@ no I love havoks videos I just don’t personally love the sound of the fps challenge one. I don’t think it will make as good a video watching wise, not because of havok in the slightest but more because lower frames won’t really translate well over video. It either won’t really be noticeable for the watcher unless they go really low, in which would make the video difficult to watch or or it will be super noticeable which again will be difficult to watch.

I have a theory about the new season of For Honor! In the live thumbnail we see the "Port" map. The first thing that catches our eye is the symbol of the Horkos Order, whose leader is Astrea "Warmonger". It is known that the skin will be released for one character from Wu Lin. The most closely associated figure from this faction in the Horkos Order is zan hu. That's why I think this skin will be for him. And the main theme itself may be related to the Order of Horkos.

I liked Elden ring enough but for me, bloodborne was top tier. I hope it gets a pc port one day, or even a bloodborne 2. I just find the combat in that game the most enjoyable.
