Don’t forget to check the two chains on the right side of the combine. They are at the top of the combine in the grain tank area. When your step is to get into the grain tank, there’s that big metal plate that lifts off that gives you access to your oil filters and your wine chains that may be junk

sI used to work for a farmer that had one of these. He made little blanking plates and changed the switches that were faded and worn away with much better, physical toggle switches with nice labels because he said the buttons lasted a half a season before they started getting sun faded and then worn. I like these machines. These are a close second to the Challengers that were powered by CAT engines imo.

In the olden days the combines just had all the belts, chains, and gears exposed with none of that sheet metal to get dinged up or flap in the breeze from faulty catches. The enclosures are good if you leave the machine sit outside but barn storage fixes that problem. You can more easily see where there is a problem without lifting the panels. ... And you might show a kid a combine running with all the exposed mechanical activity and that kid might just go on to get an Engineering Degree. I know a guy who only hired engineers who grew up on a farm -- because they knew what real work looked like! Looking forward to harvest this year, see what we all got.

You can add cameras into the combine screen for free, ours didn't come with cameras but had an "ariel" looking plug in the back of the screen, then you can have the cameras come up on the screen as you do various actions, eg. Reversing cam when reversing, auger cam when unloading etc etc. All you need to do. I think i might be limited to 1 cam input though. 10:26

that shield that fell off, you will want that back on. we get cobs thrown up in there and it knocks the shaker drive belt off (also drives the rethreshers). you can also kick the shaker down into low speed depending where you put that belt. low speed is easier on your seives and your prethresing rod. which make sure you have that pre-seive rod. cnh like to chuck them out. someone just vice gripped our pre-seive open half way and it works great like that. keep an eye on those wheel studs and torque them RIGHT! if not, those rims break super easy. the panel by the fuel cap, both of ours are breaking there too. check that lower unloading gear box. drain the oil and replace it. they fill with water easily. we just welded in a piece of ar plate where the chopper wore out. no big deal. watch the side of the machine where the chopper bolts on, they crack out there too there is a drawer under the seat, thats where people kept hiding the manuals..... road mode locks the auger and allows you to travel like 4-5 mph faster. to reverse, click the reverser on, than use the + and - to go forward and backwards looks like a great machine. will be fun to watch you make it work. you are going to SMOKE your trucking power. lol

That 3-position switch below the hydrostat handle to the left of the throttle switch in the cab is for your presets, can set them on the monitor (on the ACS tab automatic crop settings) and can quickly change between them for varying conditions and preset header heights. Use the "return to cut" button on the hydrostat handle (labed R) to return to saved cut height and preset. Hold down R to save current header height, double tap R to raise, single tap to lower/return to saved height. For running deck plates and header for/aft tilt (if applicable) hold down the unlock button on the front of the hydrostat/multifunction handle and press the reel fore/aft buttons to move. The concave adjustment might need to be calibrated, or mechanically adjusted underneath that shield in the hopper in front of the engine... Or something could be bent worst case on the mechanism or actuator is shot or wires chewed. Check for warping and bent parts... Maybe it could be rusty and not moving properly? Yep, those door shield latches suck from the vibrations. Lol that shield on the right side that protects the cleaning fan 😂 same stupid flimsy sheet metal problem I had too. It rotates with the self leveling shoe, so remount it properly. The cleaning show clutch and the feeder house clutch, grease them sparingly especially the cleaning shoe clutch. Too much grease and it'll slip when it shouldn't. Only difference is paint for those duals... actually cheaper than the new Holland rim just because of the paint. However they were probably replaced from cracked rims. Never had the chopper blown out the sheet metal yet. 😬 Good luck.

Hey Wes you need to use the CNH memory stick. Standard ones are not formatted correct and can brick your computer. I tried it on my tractor and my Nephew who is a case tech told me that. Also the switch on the side console is you selectable crop settings. You have two different programmable modes. Your header height switch has three positions. Flex height one and two and pickup header mode. Great video
