Workmaster turns into a Powerstar

Just saw your video. I've had a 2013 T4.75 now going on 3 years. I only brush hog with it. It had a little over 1000 hours on it when I got it. So far I've had no issues. The dealer took it in on trade from a farmer who upgraded to a 90 HP New Holland. He used it to mostly run round bales. The rears are loaded and out as wide as possible. Very stable on the hills around here with a 3 point 10 foot brush hog attached. The air conditioner is very good but in 90 plus degree heat brush hogging you still have to stop and clean the radiator. That is a constant with air conditioned tractors around here brush hogging. The air ride seat is really comfortable. It's nice having air conditioning here in the south in the summer while brush hogging. My old 4610 SU with a Brown brush cutter was a great combination but the heat and bugs were brutal. Thanks for the informative video. Looks like you have a good dealer.

Great commit and sounds like you have a perfect tractor for your situation. I have to blow the radiator out after brush hogging and especially baling hay, you can tell pretty quickly from the air getting warm. Dealer support can make or break a tractor. Thanks for watching

Please update as soon as you can, I have been waiting and watching before i purchase a new workmaster cab. Just to see if they have any problems as you have had. Thank You for doing honest review and keep up the good detailed videos. Also I would recommend not taking the workmaster back until they fluid filled the rear tires, our dealers, (all brands) here locally will not let a tractor leave the lot without fluid if it has a loader due to liability.

Will do! The dealer gave me a loaner because the tractor will be down for a good 2 months. It has been flawless up until it broke. After having this powerstar there is some things I miss the Workmaster has but I will bring it up when I make the next video. Thanks for the suggestion on getting the tires filled. That’s a great point!

If you want to know the difference between workmaster and powermaster, there is a channel called Messick's and that has a video on it.

Hiren Patel I follow Messick’s Channel and they make great informative videos. They posted that video about a month after I posted this one. There wasn’t a lot of detailed information about the differences between the two for about a year when New Holland added the new Workmaster Utility line. That’s the only reason I got into the KZbin thing. Thanks for the tip though

B M B M The dealer does not want to take apart the 3 point assembly that was replaced until the new one comes in due to the risk of losing any of the old parts that will be sent back to New Holland. They have assured me they will get to the bottom of the problem. Just don’t know how long it will take. BTW I like your 3930!!

Ours just turned over 412 hours and front hub came loose and seal is leaking. A week out of warranty, dealer says New Holland will not work with us even though they had it for 2 months for the first break down at 13hrs. The dealer offered 10% discount parts/labor to repair it. Bet you're glad you traded yours in!

dustin pitts I was the moment it went down but I was lucky to have access to a friends tractor to finish putting up hay. Then the dealer came threw with the loaner so it all worked out

After a few years, how do you like the Workmaster? Would you still have it over the Power Star?

I still enjoy the tractor and it has been very reliable since the 3 point break down in the beginning. Budget wise I would take it over the Powerstar. But comfort wise, the Powerstar would be my choice especially after being in the tractor for 5 or 6 hours mowing or baling. I do wish it had more power sometimes so I can run larger implements but there has to be a limit right or I would go broke.

Do you think the Workmaster 75 would pull an New Holland 9 ft disc bine okay. I'm considering the Workmaster and just trying to gather as much info as possible. I appreciate all your videos. They are very helpful.

It pulls my 9ft cutter just fine at 6+mph. When the grass is really thick it can bog down the engine some so I’ll have to grab a lower gear to bring up the rpm. I think it will pull one but just depends what pto hp is required on the model discbine your looking at. Glad the videos were able to help

@@hp2084 False, as someone who has tried both you can definitely tell the difference in quality and reliability! They only build their cheapest tractors there, T5 series is built in Italy and T6 and above in Besildon England

@@trossponsor9077 Their build so many of their CASE IH models in India. Yes they build their cheap models in low labour cost countries but apart from their exterior their internals are always of good quality and exterior is also not of low quality just not as good as costlier ones.
