Depends on the builder and financing type for the initial deposit, but for non-VA at KB Homes it’s $12k. The down payment can be less than 5%

New homes all look the same and lack character. Do you know any with high ceilings?

I see what you're saying! Some floorplans have higher ceilings at the entry. The best way to add character would probably be with accent walls or something like that. The builders make them cookie-cutter, which can make it harder to add character.

We’ll see. Prices are going up really quickly. I was with some clients at a community this weekend, and the floor plan they liked was $60k more just 3 weeks later 🤯

Nope, Just why? Stop with the HOA. Home owners should not have to ask permission to paint their home or anything in that effect. Other wise nice homes

I agree with you to extent on the HOA. I like having things somewhat uniform, but there shouldn’t be a bunch of tape for basic things. Growing up, my next-door neighbor, painted their house lime green, so I have a bad experience with complete freedom 😂
