My 1985 Toyota 4x4 has manual steering and only a driver's side mirror as it's lone safety feature. I must be godlike to drive the 100hp beast without crashing every 5 minutes.

I needed this review to plan for a future purchase. With all of those speed humps tearing off the Prius plastics near the wheel well protectors, even at lower speeds than the posted warnings, the added clearance of the CR-V PHEV offers what I consider necessary.

Love It. Wish they would bring to the US already. I can't even imagine the price Honda will charge for a 50 mile range PHEV .... Makes me kinda scared :>))..

@@skjonas Are you sure? atleast in north america Honda CRV regular hybrid cost same price as Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV GT Premium, Also this Honda PHEV looks absolutely same concept as Mitsubshi PHEV which is already in the market !

@@trulycommonman7673 Mitsubishi had a similar two-mode system, but the purpose and usage was entirely different. Honda uses it for efficiency while cruising, like overdrive in a conventional gas car. Mitsubishi used it for added power in certain circumstances, the exact opposite of overdrive.

Why are you using a Left hand Drive car for some shots and a Right hand Drive for some other shots. I watch a lot of reviews and yours is good, but I haven't seen anyone discuss warranty on these cars.

Make no sense that honda can make 360 Camera, Plug in hybrid, Bigger sunroof and all that jazz, but they can't bring it in north America, wow.

I doubt Honda has enough lithium batteries for the North American market. The amount of PHEV CR-Vs needed to fulfill this market would be staggering. Hopefully the supply chain will be ready soon.

@@erich5819ok makes sense there but they are still being cheap on not adding the 360 camera, cool front seats, and all that other stuff.

I reckon they choose not to bring PHEV version to the US, just like other non-American brands, because they wont receive the tax credit for the plug-in component. PHEV cars are usually 5k more expensive than hybrid-only, and brands like Ford is getting 3.5k tax credit for its PHEV Escape, and Tesla getting full 7.5k tax credit. That will make a CRV PHEV more expensive than these cars, harder to compete. It is not a level playing field

They are probably skeptical for North America because the clarity was a flop. If they brought the phev set up into the insight design or along more models it would sell well . Should of put a 2.5 l engine

The RAV4 Prime and Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV go to 60 about 3-4 seconds faster than this. Highly doubt the 50 mile EV range. I have the Outlander PHEV and I get between 42-45 on a full charge based on my driving.

If it has a 50 mile range on full charge, why does the Power Flow show a max ev range of 42 miles???

​​@@brayleysI've owned the ePhev now for 3 weeks. Even fully charged, it never shows more than 43 mile ev range! Still a great car, love it. Fully charge your demonstrator and show a picture from the Power Flow and show me 50 miles range (please)😁

I’m in the US and have the rav4 prime. Looking at this as a potentially next car but a bit disappointed in the power. I have a 0-60mph time of 5.6sec. 302hp combined. With and EV range 45+ miles. Was hoping for similar. I believe battery in Rav is 18.8. Wondering how the US market CRV will compare. I do love the look and features the CRV

Is not that slow as they claim. 0-60 can be around 7s. Honda numbers are very conservative in that regard.
