@ironsoul80 Жыл бұрын
125 typically gets a whopping 9.7hp with that kit installed I've heard the increase is a additional 15-20hp which could give that bike 30+hp potentially and a 5 speed transmission added i bet you could take that bike from a top speed of 55mph to more like 75mph so now it will go highway speeds
@johnnygeorgopoulos4072 Жыл бұрын
@@ironsoul80sadly that new 5spd trans has the same gearing in 5th as the stock did in 4th.... you just have more acceleration due to the spacing of the gears....a rear sprocket change though would most certainly get you at least up to 70mph with the additional power.

If only we lived in a world where you could buy any new Honda that rolls off the production line, instead of this whole "this country gets this, that country gets that" crap that we have now. Maaaan oh man would that be awesome as Honda makes some cool stuff that most people have no idea about, since it's not imported into their home country and they're not on the internet digging around to see what else might be out there. I'm sorry but I didn't dive into the price tag on this bike with the owner or builder as that can open up a can of worms that if I'm being honest, I don't want to open. It's a lose lose situation in my opinion. Why? Well, if I said it cost $2k or $5k - there's going to be a TON of people saying how dumb this or that was to spend that kind of $$ etc. Whereas if I don't discuss numbers, then there's no controversy and if someone wants to discuss a build and its price tag, the builder's contact info is in the description. If the builder / owners want to discuss pricing and don't care if I share, then I'll share. I know that's not the answer a lot of you want to hear but hope you understand where I'm coming from ;)

That may be what he's working on next as it's back down at The Speed Shop for some more upgrades.

Ohlins rear fully adjustable shocks would rock it.

Really improves the CT125, no question. Hard to believe you can get all that for only $299 extra. ;-)

Fantastic build! I assume it’s around the price of an Africa Twin?
