Absolutely. Cartoon Network, unlike Disney and Nick was made as an animation channel in the first place and still is as it shares with Adult Swim. I am really hoping for next year to be a good future of animation as a whole given how 2022 was terrible for animation fans especially with WBD and it's nice to see that Cartoonito has been being a success in the US.

Cartoon Network has always been an animation channel instead of being called a kids channel. True story, growing up, both my parents and I love watching shows like Ed Edd Eddy, Ben 10, samurai Jack even Johnny bravo which was actually my dad’s personal favorite😅. Now this is a BIG STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION! My animation channel is and will always will be a animation channel that can appeal to everyone no matter how old they are, and I’m glad that CN is going back to it’s first few years of it’s existence, unlike Nickelodeon where there just cashing into old properties by rebooting them and just not giving a shit, trying so hard on nostalgia, and trying to be hip and cool with the young crowd, that right there is not being a animation channel and not making it appeal to everyone!

I know right? Nickelodeon is horribly mismanaged and we can blame Brian Robbins for making the channel into a joke. Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder is a piece of shit as they dug up a already terrible show from the get go from the grave and reanimate its corpse to become a live action series as Butch Hartman was once a hero but live long enough to fully become a villain. Also The Really Loud House is total shit as I refuse to watch it. I'd rather watch WWE Raw and Smackdown over these piles of junk.

Ben Bocquelet has said it can still be picked up by someone else, the film’s fate isn’t set in stone yet, let’s hope for the best. Also a new Gumball series is still happening, so even if a film doesn’t happen, you know the writers will acknowledge its cancellation in very clever and meta way.

While I AM hopeful of Michael's possible plans for the network, especially with the Checkered Past Block AND the two newest "Adult Swim" shows looking very promising...I still question the idea of giving AS more hours. Besides Checkered Past, Unicorn, Smiling Friends AND Adventures with Superman; Adult Swim's current lineup seems almost as skimpy as Cartoon Network's. Half the stuff they play is Fox owned animation and with Disney in the financial trouble it's in lately, they may consider taking back FULL ownership of them and playing the reruns specifically on the FX channels. After that; only Robot Chicken, Rick & Morty and Eric Andre are left. With this in mind, it's a good thing they thought up the Checkered Past block...because I doubt AS will keep their viewership going high from 6PM to the following morning with a limited roster

I feel like Michael would turn the channel around in the right direction but many people including myself are hoping that Cartoon Network brings back Infinity Train after it got canceled in 2021 and purged from HBO Max in 2022 though it's unlikely to happen but at least Owen's agents are working with WBD to hoping find a new home for Infinity Train so who knows.

It would be fun to see the Cartoon Network Theme park if they actually wanted to compete with Disney. I would say if you want to be like Disney, Aquirre more properties , make more shows, sell more merchandise and pick up more all ages shows. If you can make a CCF/ DC Nation Connected universe film series, TV series, Theme park, video game I would see it and for EC toss in HUB and Discovery Kids to the line up Bottom line weather you are Disney or CN or Nick whoever gets PPG and DC and puts them in an Owl House or Samuri Jack quality animated show together first will get my money. I will also pay to see Twilight Sparkle , Leia organa, Princess Bubblegum , Peach Toadstool and Zelda all hanging out with the Disney/Pixar crew or a TMNT/Ghostbuster/MIB/Spiderman crossover. Actually some of the shows canceled by the merger need to come back. I want to find that balance between a "Show that appeals to adults" and a "Show that's not so changed you don't recognize it"
