I don't even wear blush, but these kind of make me want to reconsider. Also, applying each shade with different methods, giving clear directions, describing the colors, discussing complementary looks, cleaning face and brushes -- and keeping it under 30 minutes? I’m loving the look of these blushes and hearing your positive thoughts are influencing me to try one shade first. I’m also considering that brush too. Good to see this video so soon after the Sephora release cause I wasn’t sure if they would be worth it so I decided to wait and hear someone’s opinion first. Hourglass in my opinion never has failed me I have their setting powders and it’s magic on my skin! Also their ambient lighting palette! I’m so getting their liquid blushes

Hi Michele!! I agree, I feel more excited about liquid blush & bronzer this year than ever!! So years ago...early 90's....I had a Gel Bronzer in a clear tube with a twist off cap from a brand called Shaklee. In the tube it was the brightest red, but on the cheeks it was Peachy-Bronzey, and literally stained and set down all day!! I used the tiniest pinpoint amount of product at a time - and had that tube for years! ❤ I so wish I could find a formula that potent with that much staying power now. I'm loving the Giorgio Armani & definitely will try the Hourglass!

Love this try-on. My favorite on you was whim (I just gravitate toward cool tones). I have too many blushes but I did buy the Hourglass vanish Airbrush pressed powder which I love - beautiful formula.

I loved the color of the blush Whim on me, I love the function of being able to dispense one drop at a time and the wear time was great, but it was slightly patchy on my skin. But my skin is super dry, so that is probably why. Chantecaille's Sun Stone blush in Energy was a similar color on me to Hourglass's Unreal blush in Whim, but I like the satin powder/gelée finish on me more. It was smoother.

There is something about these blushes that are so joyful and colorful. They really pop with out to much popness if you know what I mean. I think it has a lot to do with your application. They have a kabuki feeling to them with out being theatrical. And on your skin tone they are gorgeous.

I have a similar spot on one of my cheeks that’s almost like too smooth that it doesn’t always want foundation to adhere, It’s so weird sometimes I see it sometimes I don’t. I’m pretty excited about these seeing that they set & can be used over powder though - i like 4 shades oops. I just recently tried the rhode ones over a set face or even powder blush and it works so well, especially to increase longevity so i went back and ordered 2 more. I love the Armani liquid bronzer but after seeing how sheer the blushes were (aside from the red) i opted out. I also think this HG range is much nicer

I have a mystery spot too on my left cheek! It makes me crazy since I have a little dimple there and base and blush just don’t stick. I am really drawn to Whim and Vision. I have the Armani blushes and I like them but I definitely have been playing more with my rhode blushes.

Yes, me too!!!! I wonder if this is typical normal for human skin - but I’ve never heard anyone talk about it - and I know I’ve never had a single pimple in *that* area, so how is this? … I can’t even see the spot normally, expect blush won’t switch to it, so I get a bare spot - I think I found a fix by putting on a tiny bit of powder contour to the spot to fill in the color, first, before applying blush - I’ve been working on this spot for years now, lol

Right under my cheekbone, kind of where one might put contour - I don’t know why bc I never had a stitch of acne there either, so have no idea why the texture is different - I wonder if more people have this area or maybe it’s normal skin/regular person texture - I’ve never heard anyone mention this until today! I think I figured out a fix… I have a very old and broken Kevin Aucoin contour powder that I’ve never used, but decided to try to put a tiny bit on that spot and see if it helped - I’ve been trying to figure out the problem for years, and this slight shading kind of blurs and fills in the color difference, and helps the blush stick better - I don’t know if it will work for others, but FINALLY, I found something to help - still, what is up with this weird texture spot - I can’t see it really normally, except it won’t take the blush and I always have a bare spot
