I’ve been a fan of the Hourglass primer for years and will often combine it with one of my liquid foundations before application. Works very well for me: I get the blur I need from the primer and the color/coverage I want from my foundation without having to buy another product. 🌸🐝

Love your reviews for complexion products. We have very similar skin types. Im a little lighter than you. I wonder how this compares with just using the drmtgy tinted mineral spf which is my normal go to for foundation. I donhave yo lighten the drmtgy but thats ok.

Thank you Dianne! I do light botox in my 11s but not in my crows feet area about every 6 months. I played with filler a bit in my 50s but none since 2017 so I'm pretty sure its effects are gone. I had my first laser, a moxie/bbl combo a few months ago to treat sunspots and texture. I also had a Scultra treatment to my temples when I was visiting Claudia Glows in Paris a few months ago. I do feel like it helped build collagen and fill in my temples a little.. What I like about Scultra is it's not actually a filler, rather it's a collagen stimulator. I used and LOVED ELDW for at least 15 years until my late 40s. One of my friends was an Estee Lauder Sales Associate and she told me that it was too matte and heavy as I was getting older and she recommended the Estee Lauder DW Light which I also used for several years. So its been ages since I used the ELDW. With its fuller coverage and matte finish, its really not the type of foundation I currently go for, but it's such an iconic classic that so many people love...I'm actually a little curious to see if I could make it work on my 63 year old skin.

She appeared to like both foundations, however she couldn't find the perfect shade in the Hourglass to continue wearing it. I have waited months to buy Haus Labs and it has been sold out both on Sephora and Haus Labs website. I think shade 4.5 will work for me in Hourglass. I just haven't seen enough trusted reviews on mature skin yet to spend 58.00.
