Love this house I think you made a great choice. Personally I would switch which bedroom you’re choosing and the guest room only because you prefer the larger bougie bathroom and should put all your stuff in there and if guests come over it would be nice for them to have their own private bathroom so they aren’t all up in your space just my opinion! Happy for you guys 🎉

I can just imagine worrying about the safety aspect of living alone (with your daughter that is). You are such an inspiring, brave, momma bear! Please look into security window films for that sliding door to your bedroom. I believe it makes the glass a little harder to shatter and break in, which buys you more time in the case of an intrusion (I hope that NEVER happens). I haven't tried it yet but planning to install them in my new home. Good luck with the move, it is such a beautiful new change and chapter for you and Arrow!

My top tips for maximizing storage in small bedrooms are to get a bed with drawers, so essentially your bed becomes a dresser, and use hanging wall shelves in place of bulky bedside tables. So happy for you and your new place 🎉

For your daughter's closet doors, we had the same in my sons, and I personally hate mirrors in my own room, so i got contact paper from Amazon that matched the decor and covered the mirrors. I love it!

Beautiful house 😊 a suggestion from me for the guest room is that if you don’t expect guests too often and for short period of time, you can put a sofa bed instead of big bed and stilt have it as office space for you to use on daily basis. We recently build our house and l combined the play room with the guest room with a sofa bed and there it en suite bathroom.

Also the bathroom in the kitchen/living area can come in handy when you have coming and going guests (like people that come for a bday party) or if you have workers at you house for maintenance or something and don't necessarily want them to go towards the sleeping area cos baby is napping or something ❤

Seems like the bathroom is for guests who maybe sleep on the couch. But I do think it will definitely come to good use being right next to the playroom. It should be Arrows bathroom but I hate a shower for kids, I would have to put a tub on the floor for her to soak. There's so much space and that's so cool about this place.

Btw the small room should be a guestroom/ filming room/ office. Since you like the lighting in there. And the larger room your bedroom. I would also use it as a walk in closet. It depends on how many guests you would actually have over.

Love the new house, congratulations!!! I am not one to pass unsolicited advice; I hope it doesn’t come across that way. It’s not ideal for anyone especially kids to sleep in front of mirrors because they are essentially “portals” which I know sounds woo woo but just maybe keep it in mind as if arrow starts to have nightmares. I used to sleep in front of a mirror and I had a terrible relationship with sleep.

I stated at someone’s house who had the guest room as also an office. They just didn’t use it while I was staying there :)
