Bright white on the cabinets and taupe on the island!. I’m a bit over the dark contrasting island phase that everyone did, it’s been so over done. But I think the Bright white and Taupe combo will be timeless and classy 😍

Oh my gosh, Emmy is going to be EIGHT? How? Where has the time gone? It’s scary how fast it’s going, isn’t it!? I’m so glad to see you thriving. And Nick is just as handsome as always. The new house is really beautiful, it does feel very similar to the last one, but in all the right ways. I loved that house and was sad you were leaving it. But now I see why you made that choice. I think it’s going to be so fun having three teen girls. I’m sure they are going to be so close and so loving and protective of each other. Congratulations a few months after the fact…and many blessings for a wonderful healthy happy life in your new home!!

I’m about to go from taupe to white kitchen cabinets. Getting fireplace painted white and sunroom, too. I love pastels so rest of my house is light yellow, sage green, light blue, and a cream color. I’ve never been what is trendy I must have. I just like my colors.

I agree with you on the kitchen paint colour ... I'd go creamy white, timeless. I know Id get bored of the taupe... If I was going to put some colour in my kitchen, I'd chose some inexpensive paint that I can replace every 5 years or so ... 😅

My husband’s aunt used Edgecomb by BM it is so soft and welcoming , She has similar floors to you. I am a bright white fan myself because I like the super clean look. But if you want cozy go taupe.
