An excellent new home for Mikey and Mia; impressed by the floating perches. Polly, my African Grey, took control of a corner of the kitchen a few years ago and can be extremely territorial.

@@zainabmatter9985 honestly, if you're keeping them in a cage 24/7 you probably shouldn't have them to begin with.... No offence, but cages are like prisons, my budgie has the full run of my bedroom. The macaws, grey and Galah have the living room, the kitchen and the outdoor aviary. If I couldn't let them out of their cages, I wouldn't have them.

Not only are your flexes safe from the birds it's more aesthetically pleasing. I didn't know there were people who didn't cook. If you've made a food preparation for a macaw you certainly can make human food. The village is lucky to have you such colorful neighbors (rainbow color)

Incredible what you’ve done with your new home! Your feather kids are lucky to have such wonderful humans! I’m anxious to see what you’re feeding Mike and Mia. I’ve never been a fan of pellets. I had tried getting my Meyers Parrot on them, but she hated them. I’ve seen people starve their birds to force them on pellets, but my feeling is this- if all I had to eat were Brussels sprouts, (YECHHHH!) I would eat them, but my quality of life wouldn’t be very good. And, I’ve never seen a pellet tree in the wild. I feed my 23 year old parrot a good quality seed mix but I supplement with “chop”- made from all kinds of fruits, vegetables, and a little pasta. She also gets scrambled eggs on occasion as well as other protein meats. I’m open for suggestions, and can’t wait to hear from the bird nutritionist. Again, well done on your beautiful new digs!

I've been waiting for this video, clicked on the link as soon as I saw it! The new house is amazing! It's looks like the perfect setting for all of you. I love how must you guys love your kids. This is how it should be. I am living a very small house myself at the moment, with my U2. In my head I have been having some pretty wild dreams about a big place and all the things I could do for him. Mia has certainly come around a lot! So great that she has fully accepted you. That means you succeeded in healing her trauma. I can't wait for the vid on the new diet.

Beautiful. My 2 bearded dragon each have their own window perch in front and back bedrooms. used 3 out of 4seasons in NEBOSTON USA 🇺🇸 I clamped 2 and 1 mercury lamp so they stay warm all day and a CHE if cold at night. They've been in the windows since 2017 and love to put themselves to sleep in a stuffed animal and fake flowers and leaves. Perfect for them (separate rooms no 2beardies should be together they're will bite and kill each other)
