Video Idea: I would love a video on how you manage the mess and cleaning of the bird room and cages. I have 5 parrots, in 3 cages in a bird room and it can feel overwhelming at times with how much work and upkeep it is everyday. How do you make it more managable when you also have school? Do you clean once a week, on a certain day? etc. I loved the tour, its awesome you can provide your birds with such an enriching large area :)

Love the new setup! It's very inspiring and it made me want to get some new things for my bedroom because that's where 5/6 of my birds are! Tip: you can hang those ropes from the ceiling fixture to the curtain rods for even more perching! You could also do it with a hanging play mat! I hung one up on its side so it became a giant swing! They also make some natural wood perches that you can screw into your ceiling although some people don't like them because if you don't do it correctly or have to heavy of a bird they can occasionally fall. Plus they put holes in your ceiling. Another cool thing is that they make regular rope perches that you would put inside a cage but super long and you can bend them and make them any shape you want! I wish I could have a bird room like yours but my room is very small and I don't have alot of money for playstands. (I'm 12) I wish I could have the birds in a bigger area like the family room but my mom can't handle the noise and the birds end up getting covered all day plus they don't like the look of all the toys. Elle u remember that old vid when u said that I shouldn’t push gentle on a birds chest to get it to step up well that helped a lot ik it’s a long time ago also u helped to get one bird to step up he doesn’t do it all the time I’m using it and it’s working btw u say u can’t tame birds at the same time well it does work out just takes longer anyway thank u for ur help❤❤ now I just have to add treats in front of it

I just got a bird and want to know how to care for it. Your channel was the third one I came across and right away it became the only one. Your presentation is second to none. Florida is home now :) The bunnies were rehomed back to their previous owner, who could keep them again after a family health challenge. They are are very happy there and get lots of attention!

i have a single budgie male. LOVES that i chucked his cage away haha. He has his own room, and toys. But he rather play with me lol. I hate cages unless big enough. He watches tv in the living room, and when im gaming on my pc he will land on my headset and watch me game.

@@juliehodge-o1uis it a budgie/parrotlet/or bird of similar size? if so, i would feed them harrison’s super fine and just give them a handful of food for a day, make sure they always have food (along with chop but don’t leave that in the cage all day). if it is a cockatiel or small conure, do the fine version (same everything else).

Hi, I have 2 budgies, one 4 yrs old, other 8 weeks old. Do budgies enjoy foraging toys where they have to manipulate it to get the reward? I thought maybe only larger parrots used them. Thanks

Budgies use foraging toys to as well as any other bird. Since your birds are budgies they are know for ground foraging so they might like the toys one the ground.You also don't have to spend money u can make toys if you want.

I strongly recommend you try using rough bark branches as perches. Those smooth stands and perches you have are just as bad for feet as dowels are. It's silly they remove bark from perches.

here are a few examples: toys with crinkle paper, corn husk, wicker, blocks (but not too small so birds can’t eat them). wood toys with bark are also amazing. sea grass and loose bark toys are my birds favorite. for a gcc, i would get a few more plastic foraging toys as well.
