Hey Laura! Just want to say thank you!! It was a beautiful day in the 60's after A LOT of rain. I had some chores to do outside, but there have been so many bears and even 3 or 4 at a time. I've heard of singing and ringing a bell to keep the bears away, but I didn't feel like singing and didn't have a bell so I took you outside on my phone and listened while I worked. Didn't see one bear! I recently moved to North Carolina from Southern California and have learned that bears don't necessarily hibernate all winter.☺ I'll have to watch the episode later so I can actually see all those plants you were excited about. Thanks for all you share and for being my "bear repellent" today!! 💗🐻

Hi Laura! The Monsters aren't Philodendrons, and the Sensaveria's have been changed to Draceanas. I seriously can't believe some of the prices! What a blessing to be so close to your family, and what a treasure to have your parents store so close! I can't believe how much knowledge you have for houseplants, when you are a genius with everything outdoors!! The "swiss cheese" are actually Rhaphidophoras. I hope you dont think I'm being rude, and just know you said you'd like to learn more. I can't tell you what a blessing you are to myself, and so many. The black ZZ are "Raven", the new leaves are bright green, and then they turn dark. I still can't believe your parents sell the Philodendron Tortum!!!! Again, i can't begin to tell you how much joy you bring soo many (wspecially a dear friend of mine and myself).

I recently found your channel and have been enjoying your videos. When showing your shipment of new plants you pointed out some sansevieria cylindrica specimens. I have been searching for one in my area for a couple months now and so far have been unable to find one, so when I saw yours I groaned out a loud aaarrgghhh! I've had my purple/black ZZ plant for years now and I had no idea it wasn't the normal color for a ZZ plant 🤣 What's really fun is that all the new growth is bright green, then darkens as it ages. I've had to repot mine a few different times because of its happy growth. As always, love tours of Andrews and seeing your fun interactions with your family. The googly eyes surprise seriously made me smile! We use googly eyes all over the place in our house, including on my houseplants so that was fun to see you all enjoy the simple entertainment of googly eyes on every day objects too 🤣

I loved seeing all the plants at Andrews! Several years ago a friend gave me one of those little pineapple plants. The little pineapple ripened that summer outside on my porch. It turned yellowish and the smell was heavenly! I cut it from the stem and ate it - was the sweetest thing I'd ever tasted! 😀 So I kept the top and rooted it and gave the mother plant to a friend. I grew that top indoors for about 2 years and it shot up another pineapple! I shared that one with my son's family. I now have a third plant and am waiting for it to send up another stalk and pineapple. Just know that these plants get rather large - about 3' wide and tall - so make sure you have room for it. I keep saying that I won't grow another one, but somehow I always do! 😂
