Your budgie is so cute! I'm so jealous haha. Mine is just a stubborn conure haha. That flight cage is huge! I think it might even be bigger than my conure's flight cage :) what a lucky budgie!
@GerbilyWerbily12 жыл бұрын
@4everCompanions Thanks! Oh I always thought Conures were very affectionate. I know, it's very big for just one little budgie but I like how much space is gives him to play in. I'm considering getting him a friend now because he just looks so tiny in there haha

I bet Merlin loves it, Do you know the bowls fit the doors? If you look theres 2 tube things on each door for the holder of the bowl to slot into, and also theres a square thing just above the door to stop birds pulling the bowls out, Although the bowls are so huge Merlin wouldnt be able to lift them, lol :)

OMG! It's huge! I'm really happy for you and Merlin! The comparison between the metal bowl, and his smaller cage is insane. Is the tray metal? I love it! Could you do a tutorial on how to sprout your own seeds? I would really like to do that for my budgie, Celia. Thanks!

I don't actually know what brand it is, sorry. I bought if off ebay for £90.00 and it had no brand. If you try searching large flight cage or large parrot cage, you might find a similar one. Make sure you check he bar spacing though

Very nice video. However, budgies do not need grit. Because budgies remove the husks from their seeds before swallowing, there is very little indigestible material in their diet. For this reason they do not need grit to help them grind and digest their food. Many birds need grit, but not budgerigars. ... This is the bit that grinds up food.
@seiliaa7 жыл бұрын
Please stop feeding your budgie grit if you haven’t already!! They are NOT supposed to consume grit as it tears the stomach lining. Yes, some birds need grit to digest properly but parakeets or budgies have a gizzard that does it for them. It can be fatal if enough is consumed.

I've been told that birds can actually die if you change their cages on them, budgies are VERY territorial so it kind of makes sense they would get anxious. New cages would be fine for younger birds like this guy but for older ones who are settled in? I'm not too sure..
